Breakfast is good, although it could be better. They should place tags with the names of the items they are serving in the buffet, especially considering they offer colombian delicacies. (i.e. For vegans, it is important to know what you are eating or for religious reasons you can't eat certain foods either). Also, try to avoid the rooms close to the lobby, as you can hear all conversations from your room.

Beautiful and quiet location. Service is outstanding, especially in the front desk; they are fantastic. The restaurant is very good, and the tours they offer are fantastic. It's 20 minutes from the city.

My room (25) was tiny and would have been claustrophobic for two people to share. Property in general seemed a bit rough around the edges as if it had seen better days.

The staff was excellent but they don't speak English they speak just Spanish but they are helpful and they gave us any information for the area using the body-language and many smiles. I really thank them

The garden is wonderful for relaxation and sort walking. The calmness of the place is a bonus. The environment is as a forest. During the day you are hearing birds which is amazing and you can book a tour for the protected area which I recommend.

An odor of cigarette smoke in the room along with a missing bedside table and lamp on one side of the bed.

The center’s location and setting/ambiance is very beautiful and unique for the area. Unfortunately, we had a minimal boxed breakfast to go as we were scheduled for a birdwatching guide at 0630 hrs who did not arrive because of a communication mixup.

Rooms too small, services were closed; spa & Sauna, it was quite disappointing. On the 31st Dec, restaurant did not offer any end of year events, many families were there but restaurant still close at 9pm. Restaurant did not have service on the outside tables at breakfast, we have to ask them to set up everyday, all families with dogs had to, as dogs were not allowed inside the restaurant which is fair but should offer service outside. Restaurant: 1. Rib eye served was not the proper cut. The Kitchen show us the cut from the providers (raw) and it is not the correct cut.Please follow up with providers. We were advised this issue was raised previously but it seems management has ignored it (big red flag 🚩) 2. During breakfast, the “egg station” was set up outside but none of the ingredients (cheese, onion, ham, etc) were covered. Flies were stepping on the fresh food. I could not eat my eggs after seeing that. Same issue with the fruit station. 3. Rostering issue, non enough staff during breakfast and dinner on the 31st Dec (maybe lack of planning on how many guest will have dinner on the last day of the year). During dinner entres and mains received at the same time, well most of them, the Rib Eye was notorious for its delay. Also make sure that always there is someone on duty that knows how to use the coffee machine or even better, offer training to all waitresses and waiters. Colombia is known for its coffee used it as an advantage and create a great experience.

The hotel is located on a farm/reserve which can be explored. Rooms were small and fit to purpose (sleep/shower). Bed was nice and shower with good pressure. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet inside the restaurant was incredible, variety and flavors. We tried both restaurants and food was tasty. Cheers to the bar! Great cócteles 🍸

The reception staff, Juan Carlos, was rude + aggressive. shouldn't do customer service. everyone else lovely. he wasn't just having 1bad day (tried to give him benefit of doubt) he was awful multiple times. a few ex's: 1) on arrival, soaked and frozen from being on motos all day, long story short: main guy @ front desk was aggressively threatening to call police on us since only had copies of our passports and refused to check us in without seeing stamp of entry into colombia (which you can get this info from our passport #s without having to see the exact page). another guy working politely tried to suggest they check us in so we could get warm and once having the info come back to front desk, Juan Carlo angrily responded with not possible - made us wait in reception for ~1h while waiting for photo of stamp from hotel in medellin who had our physical passports. (refused us hotel phone to make it go faster, had to wait for email response) 2) we checked out as normal but due to unforeseen circumstances ended up (trust me, unfortunately didnt have choice) back at hotel requiring another night at around 16h. Same thing, soaked and frozen cold. same angry guy. quoted us 400$/night. i checked on their website and it said $180. i checked on booking and got it for $130. what a scam. i provided booking i.d. and showed proof of payment on website. sent the proof to his e-mail. He refused to book us into room until showed in their system even with proof i gave. again made us wait frozen + wet in reception for 45min until it appeared in system. super rude, no respect, and negative empathy. 3) used the hair dryer like a normal person to dry my hair. i believe it was not meant for use / for show only. A small piece of the plastic tip melted within a few min of using it. when leaving they tried to charge us for it, for real? i literally dried my hair with it.
