How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

We loved everything in this hotel but the best thing is how friendly and helpful the staff was. Everyone was willing to help and answer our questions. Everyone was polite and respectful.

Some details. Problems with the windows, they need maintenance or changes. I changed rooms twice because the windows did not close good. Although , the windows are sound proof but if they did not close good , one hears the street
Location. It is very good located , very close to different places. Safety - the neighborhood feels really safe. One can walk around with no problem

The faucet was spilling water all over the place. Also there was no A/C. Lights were not so bright.
From the outside the architecture is beautiful. Good location.

I love Hotel Windsor House we are always treated like special guests. the front end staff, breakfast staff, greeters and also the cleaning staff are all helpful and happy. We always stay at the Windsor every time we travel to Bogota.

Everything was good
The hotel is clean, the rooms are huge and comfortable. The staff is super nice and helpful. I stayed with my parents and they were very pleased with the included breakfast menu and the options for room service too. I asked to get transportation from Movistar arena to the hotel at a late hour and they arraigned it for me.

Since the rooms have no air conditioning. At times, specially during the day, it can get a little hot. I also felt the breakfast needed a little more.
Good price for value. Very close to Parque la 93 and located in a very safe area.

I don't have any complaints. I loved my stay here.
I am impressed by the exceptional service provided by the hotel staff. They were incredibly attentive, understanding, accommodating, and kind throughout my stay. Despite being an English speaker, we both utilized different tools to ensure effective communication, such as Google Translate to bridge any language barriers. The hotel's location is simply fantastic, nestled in a beautiful residential neighborhood that exudes safety and charm. I enjoyed strolling through the area, discovering numerous restaurants, and finding myself conveniently located near various shops. Moreover, the breakfast served each morning was delightful, offering a different culinary experience daily. In summary, I wholeheartedly recommend staying at this hotel, whether you're a foreign visitor or a local. You'll undoubtedly feel deeply immersed in the local culture, thanks to the caring and attentive staff. It's an experience that earns a solid 10/10 rating in my book.

Not a full kitchen, it was a wet bar, although staff provided hotplate and dishes on request. They charged for breakfast but did not indicate there was a charge when we were told about the buffet breakfast. Poor water pressure in bathroom sink. Carpets in hallways not vacuumed during our 3 week stay although everything else was cleaned.
Liked having a separate bedroom since living room window opened to stairs/elevator/hotel lobby and could be noisy. With door closed, bedroom very quiet. Comfortable bed, very large closet and bathroom. Note: more hotel than apartment with daily maid service. Piano music in lobby each evening, along with furniture gave a classic vibe. Good location/very safe (we walked around at night). North of the action, so if you like to go out at night, will need a cab. Couple blocks from bus stop, restaurants and grocery stores.

This was unexpected surprise, very interested building, great amenities, friendly and helpful staff, we were upgraded to a junior suite, as large as a small apartment ! Good food ! We will return !
