We had stayed at this hotel before about a year ago. It's very nice and the staff are vey polite and helpful. The breakfast room is gorgeous. Super comfy bed and great wifi. I highly recommend.

Pool a bit small and not used due to it being so blowy on the roof top. Bathroom curiously not same standard as bedroom.

Modern, comfortable interior, lovely bedroom and all facilities as expected. Roof top restaurant very cool location with panoramic views of city.

Faranda is located in a safe area of Barranquilla. There are many good dining options within a short walk of the hotel. The room that we stayed in was spacious, had a walk in rain shower with plenty of hot water. The balcony was a very nice place to relax and enjoy the beautiful weather and people watch. The facilities were all consistent with those found in the nicest hotels in the United States. The restaurant is located on the 10th floor and affords the guests a sweeping view of Barranquilla. The breakfast buffet had fresh fruits, made to order eggs, omelets, waffles, a variety of Colombian dishes such as rice, meats and even soups. The swimming pool is also located on the 10 floor with great views of the city. The pool was always clean and well maintained. The hotel has two elevators that fast and efficient. Air conditioning worked well throughout the property as did the high speed internet. The best part of the 19 night stay was the excellent service provided by the hotel staff.

The breakfast needs to be hot, the eggs are always wet and runny, you don't get alot of meat or sausage and if you do that is cold too. The best thing is always the fruit. Oh also there is no blower dryer in the room,nor is there anywhere to place your shampoo bottle in the shower The pool is always really cold and it's on the rooftop so the breeze is cold so I never cold get in the water.maybe they should see if they could raise the temperature water.

All the staff was amazing, the hotel decor was phenomenal very up to date. The location is good close to many places. They are always cleaning in this hotel it is VERY clean. They even were touching up the light poles when I was there. Bed was super comfortable the shower was hot. The front desk staff from Shirley the front desk manager super sweet love her,the front desk girls gensis,aileen,and there was one more super sweet girls. Restaurant staff: wilmer he makes the best drinks,Carlos the cook fixes my breakfast so sweet,Nay is my go to person love her,yulio super sweet always has a smile on her face.felix my little butterfly I always called him smiley he was sweet too.

There really is no downside to the stay. Everything was positive.

The grounds are well maintained and clean. The building is very unique with concrete ceilings and interesting décor.

My room was on 3rd floor, my balcony seemed to get swept but not mopped, as i always noticed my feet were dirty after turn over service, the balconies on the 2-3 floors need to be swept and mopped when turnover service is requested
