Our stay at Finca Cuipo was great. We stayed for three nights and enjoyed every moment. The welcome was very warm, the cabin with a view of the jungle ánd the sea was sublime, the pool was soothing and the food delicious. I can recommend it to everyone

Views from remote cabins are stunning and nearby jungle is pristine. Owners are looooooovely and their cuisine healthy and inventive. It is hard to leave this peaceful hidden heaven...

Those guys know how to do it ! One of the best experience we had in Colombia - for sure you will create special memories here. Honestly there was nothing we would change. we loved it.

What makes this place so great, as so many have alluded to, is Fiona and Helmut - lovely, hospitable hosts who do everything they can to make you feel welcome. Loved the breakfasts and Helmut’s cooking in the evening was excellent too. The location is just magnificent and the views from the Finca and from the poolside are unforgettable - banana trees, jungle and the beautiful coastline. It is a rustic place but with lots of beautiful touches and a great spot from which to totally unwind and escape - though we also used it as a base to explore nearby Tayrona National Park and Palomino, both short bus rides away from the bottom of the hill. Thank you guys for sharing your slice of paradise with us, we miss it already!

The Finca was amazing! Surrounded by beautiful nature, oceanview, nicely decorated and super clean. The atmosphere by the pool was very relaxing and we got offered nice drinks and snacks. Fiona and Helmut were the best hosts! Super friendly and helpful, they made us feel very welcomed! The breakfast was always amazing and also even though they don’t have an official restaurant, they cooked us some very delicious meals every night! We cannot thank them enough for one of the best experiences we ever had!

Just came back from a 4 nights stay at Finca Cuipo and I can say it's absolutely perfect! The cabanas are wonderful, with an amazing balcony and view and super nice outdoor shower! Fiona and Helmut welcome you as friends and do everything they can to make sure you are having a good time. They cook great food and are always up for a nice conversation. The finca is surrounded by jungle, so it is very quiet and peaceful, perfect if you want to disconnect for a while. 100% recommended!!

Absolutely nothing!

Helmut and Fiona were the best hosts I’ve ever met, they were so caring and accommodating to all of our needs. We felt so at home! The homemade food (breakfasts and dinner) they prepared were top notch, best of the meals I’ve had in Colombia. It was so healthy and delicious, we didn’t need to leave the property to dine elsewhere. The property is in a very unique location with spectacular view, very private and serene. We were researching all the cool activities we’d like to do in the area but in the end we just spent the whole day chilling by the pool and on the hammock because it was so amazing! Just be aware it’s located on the top of the hill, so getting up and down on motortaxi was an exciting attraction itself. I’d love to come back again and have a longer stay :)

Easily the highlight of our 3 months in South America. The finca is beautifully situated on a hill overlooking the coastline and immersed in nature. The cabins are thoughtfully designed and so comfortable, along with offering incredible views of sunrise and the sea, all from your hammock! This is the perfect place to switch off and relax (we had grand plans of hikes, and ended up sat by the pool for 3 days, and didn't want to leave!) Fiona and Helmut are amazing hosts, from the first hello, to our final goodbyes. (and can't forget the lovely Tovi). Each meal we had was lovingly prepared, beautifully presented and delicious. Highly recommend Finca Cuipo! It was the perfect way to end 2022, and see in the New Year.

Our stay at Finca Cuipo was outstanding. The Finca is set in a beautiful area, surrounded by nature with fantastic views of the ocean below. The cabin was stylish, rustic and comfortable and the attention to detail was second to none (the outdoor shower was a highlight for us). The food was prepared and cooked from scratch with focus on flavour and nutrition and was always delicious. Fiona and Helmut were brilliant hosts, friendly, interesting, attentive and knowledgeable. Together with nature, they’ve created an oasis which we didn’t want to leave. If you’re looking to truly unwind and immerse yourself in nature (whilst keeping all of the comforts of home) you must stay here. My only negative is that no other place will ever compare to Finca Cuipo!

'Finca Cuipo' is a little paradise in which a very loveable young family let take you part of their life within and with the nature. If you wake up in the morning, its every day a different, but always a beautiful sunrise. After that, you can look forward to a very delicious breakfast (especially the pancakes and fresh juices!) you chose the day before. Same with the dinner. If you have any questions for example about the culture or need help to plan a trip/ transportation/..., Fiona and Helmut will help you with it. Communication is very easy because the both speak fluently English and Spanish. Fiona also is able to talk German and Dutch. We've definitely never had so caring hosts! Our choice was to stay for 5 nights and we can absolutely recommend that number of days.

The location was beautiful and quiet and our room was perfect. Everything was incredibly clean and organized which made our stay comfortable. Helmut and Fiona cooked delicious meals for us, with a variety of options to choose from! Waking up to such a beautiful view was amazing. We would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a unique experience and want to get away from the noise and traffic to relax in a small haven of peace.

Nothing

Helmut and Fiona completely went out of their way to make our stay amazing from beginning to end. We really did not want to leave! We did the Lost City Trek before coming here and Helmut offered us transportation from the end point of the trek to their place which was super practical. Helmut, and the cook Kelly make super delicious food, we loved all the dishes that were served. The place itself is very beautiful and truly unique. We didn't leave it to go on any daytrips because we liked it so much and it was the perfect place for us to relax after an exhausting hiking experience. Finally, when you're staying with Helmut and Fiona, their very cute baby daughter Tovi and very social pets (a dog named Canela and Bagheera the cat), you'll feel as if you're visiting a couple of friends... While at the same time having all the luxury in the world once you retrieve to the beautiful cabins. We can not recommend this place more highly and hope to come back here ourselves one day soon.

Finca Cuipo is based on an exceptional location, right in the jungle with beautiful views over the sea. The sun deck next to the infinity pool is a wonderful place to relax, enjoy the views and spot the big variety of birds and butterflies. The 3 cabins are beautifully designed and give you an outdoor experience indoors. The outdoor shower feels like showering in heaven: jungle sounds, beautiful plants and high pressure on the water. The hosts are lovely and do everything to make your stay unforgettable. Wonderful service throughout the whole booking process and stay. Delicious local meals with flavors from around the world.

Absolutely everything was perfect during our stay at Finca Cuipo. Especially the sweet owners, Fiona and Helmut, went out of their way to cook delicious food, help us with recommendations for activities and generally just created such a good and welcoming atmosphere. The bungalow was clean and the view from there stunning! Also, the location of the place is in perfect distance from Tayrona National Park and very easy to reach from there.
