Gulupa Ecologe is absolutly perfect. The views are amazing, the accommodation is cozy and modern with beautiful scenery and nature all around. The staff is very friendly and facilitated to our specific diet requirements. Great hiking trails nearby. Amazing place for bird watching. The accommodation has yoga mats for a morning stretch and a jacuzzi bath to relax muscles after a long hike. Can't recommend it enough!

Unbelievably beautiful location with killer views. Just a short walk down the road to access a beautiful stream you can swim in and then up the road to a little waterfall. However, it’s a long dirt road ride from town.

Gulupa Ecolodge is such a relaxing and calming place. Surrounded by nature, it’s quiet, you hear and see a lot of birds. The whole place has such a good energy, I just wanted to stay for 1 night, but extended for another night. The staff is super friendly, the facilities are clean. I really like the whole setting of the lodge (many hammocks, chill areas, yoga mats you can borrow…). A big plus for me was that there are many hiking trails around it and after a hike you can enjoy the hot tub! :) I would 100% recommend this place!

There was nothing not to like. Everything about the lodge was absolutely perfect.

The staff, breakfast, and bed were perfect! The upstair patios and hottub were incredible bonuses. We wish we had had more time to relax at the property and hike around. This place was a dream.

Honestly there was nothing not to love about this accommodation.

This is a beautiful, well thought out ecolodge set in the beautiful hills overlooking Jardin. This is the first place I had good coffee in Colombia...strange but true. They have their own small coffee plantation that you can zipline over to. The breakfast was delicious, I tried a few different menu items and they were all tasty. The hammocks/suspension nets are a cool place to hang out to watch the sunrise and sunset. The jacuzzi was a treat after a long hot day of chasing waterfalls and riding horseback through the coffee and banana plantation...it's not hot tub hot so it's easy to enjoy without overheating. The couple who run Gulupa are lovely, speak fairly good English and it truly shows how much they love what they have created. They were very helpful with assisting in organizing activities and giving suggestions. Bonus: They have the comfiest beds I came across in Colombia.

Could have used a kettle and coffe making supplies in our room for those early mornings.

Breakfast was very good. On days were we were leaving for excursions before staff arrived they left us a breakfast bar service was great. Make sure you have a Galupa margarita and a Galupa Malteado. Boring was great from the deck where fruit and hummingbird feeder attracted tanagers and hummingbirds.

LOVED the views! Most welcoming owner and staff of our entire trip! We loved that we were away from the noise of Jardin but able to quickly go for a meal, services, or explore town. Good birdwatching, food nearby, felt very safe day and night.

As advertised, it is a bit of a hike into town. While there is no public transportation, taxis or tuk tuks are always available and can easily be arranged at reasonably low cost.

Absolutely stunning property and view, surrounded by birds and greenery. We could have spent the whole time in Jardin relaxing at the lodge and overlooking the hills. The room was very comfortable and clean, with a lovely modern bathroom. If you are looking to stay in nature, we highly recommend this place!

Gustavo and Natalia and staff have built an extraordinary place out of love and respect for nature and travelers. It is stunning and comfortable. The views are amazing. The breakfast and Gulupa juice are lovely. Easy walk to town or plenty of tuk tuks. Highly recommend. We stayed 3 nights, each night ending with wine on the patio looking at town.

All good. Wish we stayed longer!

We were looking for a quiet accommodation and we found it at Gulupa! what a wonderful place and beautiful views over the Jardin valley. Gulupa has a beautiful garden where you can enjoy the birds and the view on your own terrace. The cabins are clean and cozy and the breakfast is delicious (and plentiful). We went by car but in the evening we took the tuktuk to the city. that worked perfectly!

Everything! I traveled a lot and had many good experiences with different accommodations. I have to say Gulupa Ecolodge is my my number ONE. I stayed 2 nights here. From the second I entered the property,I was amazed with the view and hospitality of Gustavo and Natalie. I chose here because the location where overlook the downtown of Jardin and good reviews. It exceeds my expectations so much more. I am so happy to stay here. There are zip lining and tree climbing platforms in the property. Even I am afraid of height, but I also want to try the activities. Thanks to Agustavo who encouraged me to challenge myself and I made it. Without him I don’t think I would be brave enough to try on my own. The view from the room is exceptional. The common areas are also very nice. The building is made creatively. Everything is superb! I have the chance to know Gustavo about how he pursed his dream to build this place. These young couples are amazing and kind. I promised them I will be back and I will. If you are in Jardin, please come stay here. You won’t regret.

This place is a little oasis above Jardin. A lovely walk or short auto rickshaw ride from town. A beautiful place to stay. The staff were very welcoming.
