How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

In Booking.com I asked if my partner could check in earlier as she was arriving first given that my flight was delayed, because it was me who was going to pay the stay. However at her arrival to the hotel she had to pay at least one night to be able to enter. So booking.com and the hotel Habitel Prime should have better communication to not get customers confused

Hotel Restaurant was a little over-priced. Steak over cooked for me and fries were cold when served.
This was an Airport layover choice. Good value, very nice rooms, shuttle service (10 mins). Suited us just fine.

There wasn't anything about this hotel that I didn't like.
The ambiance was very relaxing and inviting. The staff was extra friendly and very helpful. The food from the restaurant was exceptional as well as the service. Even the woman that ran the gift shop was so nice, helpful, and patient! The rooms were 5 star!

staff wasn’t very nice and let us wait for 3 hours in the lobby when we arrived early even though the room was ready

Location is perfect for short stays in bogota. Near the airport and has transportation to El Dorado.

Be carefull when paying with foreign credit card. If the requested amount is not in colombian peso they try to charge you an additional 5%. Do not confirm this! Request the amout being in colombian peso.
Perfect location for an overnight stay if your plane leaves on the next day.

For the price, one glass for two people. Un vaso para dos personas con ese precio. One coffee sachet for two people. Very mean hotel. Una capsula de cafe para dos personas.

The rooms are extremely spacious, clean, and well-equipped. The proximity to the airport paired with the free shuttle is amazing. I can highly recommend staying here for a comfortable layover.

Little pricey for Columbia. But convience made up for it
Close to airport. Shuttle ran every 30 minutes. Food was good. A purely business Travel Hotel. Fairly new and modern decor. Good place to overnight for flights

The hotel lobby and first floor is under construction which resulted in us not having airconditioning in our room. The didn’t offer a room with airconditioning, I would have accepted a regular double room instead of the junior suite. They offered a small fan, which was fine but meant that only on of us would feel a breeze now and then
The shuttle service is just magnificent, great scheduling and the check in procedure went quickly too. The room was nice, spacious, clean and exactly what we booked. The breakfast was great also. The only thing that spoiled this stay at Habitel Prime was that we didn’t have a working airconditioning in the room, since they were under maintenance. They could have mentioned this or try to accommodate us somewhere else.

Very comfortable room. Excellent organisation of airport shuttle and efficient checkin and checkout. We had to check out very early at 4.00 a.m., and we received a breakfast package to go. Amazing service!
