great hostel! very chill and good vibes. bamboo trees everywhere. great kitchen and facilities. very comfortable beds. great rooftop with good view good wifi it is also quiet at night. you can even win free services by commenting on an online platform and spinning a wheel. super cool concept

Excellent hostel. The hostel is in an excellent location, the owners are very friendly and help with everything you need. The facilities of the hostel are excellent and include: a fully equipped kitchen, hot water in the shower, a beautiful balcony with hammocks. I recommend everyone who comes to San Agustin to stay here

The hostel has everything a backpacker needs: free water to refill, fast wifi, nice rooms and a good equiped kitchen. The roof top is perfekt for hanging out, having some beers and watching the sunset.

There was not much of a vibe in the hostal in the evenings, but it seemed like there were not to many backpackers in San Augustin in general.

The owners of Bambú hostel are really nice and can give a lot of information about what to do around San Augustin. Also the beds are very very comfortable, there are hot showers and the common areas are very nice! There is a good shared kitchen and overall the hostel is really clean. Location in the centre is perfect. There is cheap and quick laundry service.

Nothing, it's the best hostel in San Agustin.

We had an amazing stay at Bambu. The staff were friendly, nice room with a TV with Netflix and YouTube, good communal kitchen, free coffee, strong WiFi, amazing breakfast (8000 cop), close to restaurants (we recommend the pizza restaurant a few doors down) and the main sqaure and a really good communal area with a view of the town. There were also 3x lovely resident cats.

Very nice hostal, clean, very well decorated with an amazing Terrasse. Stephanie was super cool, available for us and helpful. The location is perfect, near the central place with restaurants just nearby. I recommand this place

There was some noisy construction next door, but obviously the hostel can't control this

Everything was always kept clean, super comfortable beds with lots of blankets, open atmosphere with lots of natural light, great wifi, good location a few blocks from the main park. The view from the terrace is beautiful, the kitchen is so well stocked with everything you need! Stephanie in reception is super helpful!

Really the one major drawback is how loud it can be in the dorms due to outside noise. The doors and windows have a lot of gaps, so the noise comes in easily whether they're closed or not. And especially on weekends, there is plenty of noise from the street, both from locals being drunk and loud, and from motorbike engines. We got woken up in the middle of the night for a while one night due to all the noise outside.

The hostel has a fun, unique layout, with multiple levels and spaces for hanging out. WiFi was really good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location is close to the middle of town. Hot water worked well. Nice to have beds that aren't bunk beds, with plenty of space in the room.

Beds are very hard.

Really nice view from the top level and nice area to relax and hangout with people. Owner can speak English and have made it very easy to find and book tours/activities and would definitely stay there again!

The hostel was big as it had many levels, where you could entertain yourself. The staff was very helpfull, and there was a great ambiance. Furthermore, it was cheap, and had great facilities for such a cheap hostel. The view from the balcony was beautifull.

The second shower might have some comfort, to hang thing etc. But you have one big and very good othe other one available, so it's not a main issue.

The hostal is really nice and the terrace very cool. It's a good option to stay close to the center and discover the area.
