The rooms were lovely but the beds were very hard and not comfortable. There was also no fridge in the room but they did let us keep some leftovers in theirs (however we could not chill our beers or drinks)

The lodge is magical. It has amazing views, feels like a luxury resort. There are local restaurants to walk to or the restaurant at the lodge was really good. Their Pina coladas were delicious and the pool was a nice treat after a long day of hiking. The staff at the lodge are exceptional. Very helpful and professional.

The hotel was really nice and had lovely views of the Tayrona park. The personnel was very nice and helpful and the restaurant food was very good too. We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is located 3 minutes by car from the main entrance to the National Park and hotel can organise taxis for guests.

Absolutely loved this place! We stayed here 4 nights in the room "Sewa" it the highest one so it pretty private. The pool is clean and the views are beautiful. Wifi is available in common areas which forced us to disconnect even more when in our room. Overall i would encourage everyone to stay here. The staff was great and the resident cat Artemisa as well!! The food and drinks were great!

It was a bit close to the highway so you hear the road traffic and horns in the night, but this is no different than most other accommodations in the area.

Staying here was one of the best decisions we made on our trip. We spent the previous two days hiking in Tayrona so this provided a much needed dose of relaxation. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the rooms and facilities were gorgeous, and the meals were delicious (and well priced for their size).

Unreliable electricity during our stay, not having wifi can be tricky and the rooms are dark without light! But this wasn’t all of the time.

Very friendly staff, lots of delicious food and a really amazing view with 10/10 sunsets! Plenty to do in the lodge even if you’re not going out on a hike. Free breakfast was great and filling for the day.

I recently stayed at Hotel Quetzal Dorado Eco-Lodge and had an unforgettable experience. The staff, especially Helena, were incredibly welcoming and made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. Wifi only in the common areas but that's fine. Our room smelled a bit stale but it might have been due to our clothed after 4 days hiking to the lost city. It is doable walking distance from the Tayrona entrance. However it's 20 min walk. There are also bus and taxi options.

The view is amazing, food in the restaurant is good. Swimming pool is fantastic after a day full of walking. Santiago is an amazing host who arranges everything you need. Bed is comfy.

- Everything was amazing except one thing: the noise coming from the road and loud music from the hostel next to it. The music was manageable but the noise from the road was all night long with bus, motorbikes, cars. It’s the same for all hotels in the area though. - For activities around the hotel, you depend on taxi/bus/motorbikes. It’s not nice to walk on the roadside.

The highway below can be a little noisy with passing traffic but overall I found this hotel a quiet relief from the noisy city.

Santiago was a great host. The location is beautiful and the food was tasty. It was nice to get away from the noise of Santa Marta and I loved listening to the birds in the morning.

No internet in the rooms, but good enough internet in the common areas for work and Zoom calls. It was kind of nice to disconnect while in the room :)

Beautiful views and lovely staff, close to Tayrona National Park (you can hop on the bus just outside the lodge and in a few mins you are at the Tayrona entrance- 5,000 pesos for the bus). Just make sure you go early as we went at 8am and had to queue for 2 hours (this was early January, so high season).

Everything. We had such a good stay here we stayed an extra night! This place will remain within our hearts for a lifetime, special thanks to Santiago for making our stay extra special - such a great guy! Food was fantastic and reasonably priced. The best passionfruit margaritas we've ever had! So many amazing birds just in the grounds I spent hours photographing them.

We had a wonderful stay here. The location is easy to reach. Wonderful staff. The views of the hotel is so magical, you are surrounded by forests. Included breakfast was tasty and filling, and they had vegan options. I wish we could stayed here more.
