the views from the terrace, the great food, the parrot, the kind staff and the nice cabins. We got a beer with the sunset and the Tayrona view. They stored our bags for us to go to the park and stay the night there.

this was the highlight of our trip. the hostel is so so so beautiful, massages were relaxing and staff was so helpful. the food was really good, no disappointments, just positives. I will be back if I ever go to Tayrona again

Staff were extremely friendly and smiley, personal thanks to Santiago who was absolutely brilliant. We had a very heavy bag and staff took care of it despite the very many stairs. Welcome cocktail which is a nice touch. The room was very clean and the shower had hot water which is rare in the area. The views are fantastic, you will love the sunset. Dinner was good (very yummy coconut rice) and they even asked whether we wanted our red wine at room temperature (they tend to serve it cold in Colombia). Good breakfast. Close to Tayrona Park which avoids having to do a long drive. Hotel helped us organise our taxi requirements.

Nice Eco Lodge with a nice atmosphere and a lovely room. Very attentive staff, nice food in the restaurant and the breakfast was nice, too. There's a nice view.

Everything was perfect - we had an amazing stay, the room and the whole hotel complex was super pretty, the staff was always very friendly and supportive with all questions. we also booked a massage which was very nice and the view from all points of the hotel is incredible.

Nothing! Maybe only that we got an old taxi for our ride from El Quetzal to Cartagena (although our taxi driver was SUPER NICE & friendly!).

The view / location was just stunning! Even better than the photos on the Lodge’d website. The team at the Quetzal Dorado were really nice, super helpful and assisted us with all our questions and concerns. We loved it!

This place was absolutely amazing. When arriving we got a welcome drink, everything was really clean, the food was delicious and the staff was very helpful. Also, we had to walk only 25 minutes to the entrance of Tayrona Park. I would highly recommand this place.

The ecolodge is next to a busy road. We needed the sound of the airco in order not to hear the trucks during the nights. Maybe if you have room a room at the back of the resort, it will be a little bit better.

The view from the restaurant is stunning, the personnel is friendly.

I had a perfect stay here. It’s close to the park (walking distance), staff was really nice, food was excellent, spotless clean and best of all: really good mojitos. Which you will appreciate and the hike trough the park!

From the moment we arrived we had a great stay. In fact, before that, as advance communications were great and confirmation that our dietary requirements could be met. Excellent information on arrival, a lovely room, fantastic terrace with sunsets and birds and cocktails, great food - and wonderful help with everything. Nothing was hard, everything was easy and smooth and no problem.

Santiago amazingly welcomed us with his friendly attitude and service. We immediately felt welcome and had an amazing time in this place, even though it was only for one night. The food was awesome made by a local "mama". The service was perfect. There is a swimming pool, pool bar, darts and stuff. The view from the restaurant was beautiful. There was animals everywhere to watch. The general vibes of this place was so positive and welcoming. Shout out to Santiago for taking such good care of us!

Everything was perfect! Very cozy private cabin with AC. Beautiful and quiet surroundings with amazing sunset views. Just a 10 min drive to both Tayrona as well as Costeño beach. And Santiago was the best! Wish we could’ve stayed longer.

We loved our stay at quetzal dorado eco-lodge. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The view is amazing. A delicious breakfast and coffee every morning. The food and drinks at the bar were also very good. Close to the national park of tayrona. The massage afterwards is very nice as well. Would have liked to stay more days.

Could improve vegetarian/vegan options, but we found this all over Colombia!

Amazing setting, especially the view. Pool area is relaxing, with extra games. Staff were very helpful and exceptionally friendly.
