The owner was really lovely and hospitable. We went for hiking and he was really helpful in giving us information. The pool and the property were both really beautiful.

There is nothing I would change. You will not find a better value. If you store luggage don't put it deep into the cool corner of his office it can get damp there from the temperature change

La Media Luna was my favorite place to stay in Palomino. Palomino can be hot, dusty, noisy and touristy. Juan (the owner) has created a space that is cooling, clean, peaceful and homey. He is one of the nicest people I've met anywhere in all my travels. My girlfriend and I felt comfortable going into Palomino and getting sweaty and sandy, knowing that we were coming back here where we felt at home. Like all places in Palomino make sure to bring bug spray for the evening mosquito hours, have the homemade Panela tea with breakfast, spend time in the perfectly placed hammocks, give the dogs some belly rubs, and enjoy the lushness of the pool area. Juan will take care of the rest (he gives the best tips for where to go and what tours to take)

When you are in one of the single or double rooms with shared bathroom, you share a roof with the other rooms. (The rooms are kind of open). Which means there is a nice airflow. But in the worst case, your neighbours are loud and wake you up. This only happened twice...the other nights i slept well.

This place is amazing! I ended up staying nearly a week because i loved it so much. The place looks a bit like a resort, but i paid less for my own room than what others paid for a dormbed in Palomino. Such good value for money! The place is outside the hustle and bustle of Palomino and therefore it's quiet and relaxed. Supergood place to chill and unwind. Near to D1 supermarket and local restaurants. I felt safe walking back alone from the beach at night. The owner and his mum are superfriendly and helpful.

The hostel is far from the beach, but if you are looking for a calm place to relax, it is more than perfect!

The place is perfect for chillax. The bungalow was amazing, with a comfy bed, internet, and hammocks outside and they are in the middle of building the swimming pool. The owners have a warm heart for the guests. Nothing to complain about.

This is one of the best places I've stayed in, the place is beautiful and with a super relax and cozy atmosphere, exactly what you need after a day out in Palomino but what made our stay even better was Juan the owner, who made us feel so welcome and at home all the time, such a nice person!

We expected a dorm but it turned out to be little private rooms with mosquito net and a fan! The rooms and beds were very neat and I slept amazing. The hostel itself looks great with a lot of wood and nice hammocks. Overall athmosphere is very peacefull, so great for coming back to after walking around in palomino or hiking in Tayrona. Not to forget Juan the owner who is so helpfull and kind. This place definately made our stay in Palomino to remember.

This is a beautiful place!! It's really quite and peaceful, perfect place to relax . It's off the main street so your away from the loud hustle , yet it's still an easy few minutes walk away! The owner Juan helped accomidate any requests , including letting me check in at 11am in the morning, letting me chose the cabin I preferred and letting me use the facilities after checkout..great hospitality!!!!!! I highly recommend this place to all !

What makes the place uncomfortable is walking every time through the dining/living place of the owners which made us feel a little bit under control. In the room we got our mosquito protectors for beds although there was no soap in the toilet (empty recipient). If you want to refill your 1L bottle of water with the owner’s filtered water it’s a cost of 1000COP for each refill - we managed to buy in a local store 6L water bag for 2,5k and used it the whole stay.

The accommodation was good, the breakfast was tasty but paid extra 10k. Despite all of the remarks above, we enjoyed the quietness and relaxed a lot. (Watch out: no pool in the precinct!)
