The wifi wasn’t the best. All of the soap dispensers in shared bathrooms were empty and only one of the two toilets had toilet paper (unfortunately the one that was missing the toilet seat 😆).

The bed was comfortable, the property was clean and has a lovely patio. The location is very central. The receptionists were very nice (but some of the kitchen staff seemed a bit moody).

The breakfast was a bit slow, so be aware of getting up early so you can be one of the first to be served in case you need to be early somewhere else. Also, there was a man who apparently lives there who was a harassing. Although we didn't discuss this with the owner (our bad).

The location was close to the beach 10 min walk. The hostal offers breakfast. They also rent shoes for the sea. You can wash your clothes if you wish so, they have facilities for it, they also have laundry service.

Toilet and shower could use some love or an update

Friendly staff, quiet area, good A/C to sleep, comfy beds, helped a lot with tours and all you need, very fair price overall for what you get! Mostly strong WiFi

The hostel is very well located in the city center but in a kind of refuge place. The beach is reached in a short distance. The decoration and common area are beautiful and relaxing. The owner and the staff are attentive and helpful.

There is no hot water and there is only one option for breakfast: arepa, eggs, juice, coffee or chocolate. If you want to order something else as a piece of bread, you need to pay 1k pesos.

It’s well located, nice staff and the air conditioner is very good, which makes the room very comfortable to rest after a day in the beach.

The breakfast was okay at best, and the coffee left much to desire. The laundry service was the most expensive I have ever encountered in Colombia, four times as expensive than in Medellin, for example. No big deal though, breakfast places were plenty nearby and clothes became clean.

Just outside the noisy streets of the city, Posada San Martin offers a convenient location near the restaurants, cafes and beaches of the town of San Andres. My room had a perfectly functioning A/C, small fridge and possible the most comfortable bed of my then two months long Colombian journey. Common area was perfect for online working and the wifi seemed quite good!

Nice localisation. Very close to center and airport. Very nice/helpfull client services including a basic breakfast but it remains worthy for the price we pay. We got private room with A/C Window little fridge and tv with several chain list. Bathroom and W/C are public.

Kenya, Manfred and family are so nice. They can help with organising bike hire, trips etc. The location is peaceful. 10 min walk to the town. The room was very comfortable. I chilled for 2 weeks there and it was perfect.

Great place to stay in San Andres. We really enjoyed our stay at Hostal Posada San Martin. The place is simple, but value for money is absolutely great. You have everything you need for a comfortable stay: air conditioning, towels, soap, a nice breakfast etc. The location is perfect, you are in walking distance to the beach, many shops and restaurants. The staff and especially Massimo was super nice and helped us with lots of stuff like tour recommendations, scooter rental, luggage storage for a trip to Providencia and so on. All in all we very very satisfied and can highly recommend this place!

The rooms are adequate with cold showers which are fine in the hot weather. The bedsheets were stained but probably due to washing powder or conditioner as they smelled clean. The internet was patchy but that’s the same all over the island. Breakfast was basic but satisfactory. Our only gripe was when we had to leave early and notified them hours after paying for 6 days - there was a point blank refusal to even contemplate returning any money even though our reasons were urgent and medical. This left a sour taste and reflected something of a mercenary attitude.
