We arrived at 5am and were lucky enough to he able to check into our room at this time but they wanted to charge us a whole nights worth for just a few hours! They wouldn't let up so we paid because we had been awake all night

The bathroom is very small, fine for a night or two stopover but not the most comfortable. Note there is also no hot water (as is common in many places on the coastline in this area). As its barranquilla and its quite hot and humid, that wasn't a problem

no hot water in the shower, which is very common on the coast but don’t really need it as Barranquilla is hot so a cool shower is refreshing.

Great A/C, simple accommodations but very clean, parking directly in front of the hotel, good neighborhood, friendly staff, all around comfortable.

I was in town to take a flight the next day, it's a good hotel for the price. The facility was small but fine like a boutique hotel, the staff was nice, breakfast included and wifi was awesome.

My room didn't have windows but to be honest it worked great for me since I slept better that way.

Great location and staff. Comfortable rooms. My AC was leaking and they fixed it within an hour of me letting them know. I paid extra for breakfast and it was great! Delivered to my room with fresh juice. Wifi was faster than at home.

I loved everything.

I loved the hospitality. very great people to talk with and very happy I met them. I can say I have made great friends. It has become a place where I know I will surely be returning to stay with them again.

The rooms were a bit dirty, and the towels were stained. We also asked the front desk clerk to call us a taxi in the morning for the airport; the taxi he called scammed us, asking us to pay double the amount it should cost. Perhaps it was also our mistake not to confirm the price before we got into the taxi. Usually, hotels help with calling reliable transportation and advising on fair pricing - so we trusted this.

We picked the hotel for its close location to the main carnival parades (in February in Barranquilla), and the location was great for this. During Carnival you expect the prices to be much higher (than what accommodation would usually go for) as the city is booked out. The hotel was fine for the 3 nights. The lady at the front desk was lovely and the owner very helpful.

I misjudged that being "close" to the Malecon, there would be a vibrant scene of restaurants and bars. First, it was a long walk to get to the Malecon, and there a food court there (and a statue of Shakira), but little in the way of a bustling district. The front desk was often unstaffed and I would have to buzz somebody to come down the stairs to open the front door, but not a big deal.

I didn't have breakfast at hotel. The staff was nice. The sidewalk parilla across the street was popular and the food was good. The nearby Exito was convenient. With no outside window, noise was not an issue.

bed was uncomfortable. staff were not helpful and didn’t provide any local information, even when asked. hotel owner would not allow us to cancel one night of our stay despite this being permitted in our free cancellation policy on booking.com. the wifi was down for most of our stay. while this was not actually the hotels fault (caused by a power line failure) they did absolutely nothing to resolve the situation, instead placing the onus to resolve our personal difficulties from not having wifi entirely on us.

well located for carnival. rooms were clean. hotel felt very secure

My room was very small and right next to the reception - the extremely thin walls meant I could hear every word spoken by staff and other guests throughout the night so couldn't sleep. The room didn't have a window and WiFi was not working for most of the time. There was no hot water but this could be accepted due to Barranquilla being so warm that a cool shower is ok. Definitely not a 3 star hotel and shocking that I had to pay £75 per night for such poor standards. However the staff were friendly and helpful, and location was close to carnival.
