Perfect location and also booked a tour with the hostel to Tatacoa Desert which was the main reason for being there and it did not disappoint. Juan David was a great member of staff. Very helpful with my late arrival and there for anything I needed as well as being friendly which makes all the difference. Highly recommended.

The location is maybe not entirely ideal as it is a bit far from the Center but close to the airport and by no means it’s a bad location!

The Tatacoa tour was incredible! Very knowledgeable guide, beautiful spots and stops beyond the red and white desert. Extremely good value for money as it lasted the entire day including lunch and we were then dropped off in Villavieja for our second night. Also the staff in general was super friendly and helpful.

The only thing that could be improved was the privacy of each bed in the dorm room. A simple curtain will help!

Very friendly owner and professional staff. Everything was kept clean and there were a lot of space to relax. There was air conditioning in the dorm room which was a huge plus for hot Neiva. The pricing was also amazing. The best value hostel in all of Colombia!

The tour takes you through the red desert at mid day. I feel this can be done earlier in the day and I appreciate it’s a dessert and it’s always going to be hot but the midday sun is always the hottest. Outside of that the tour was fabulous and everyone honestly went out of their way to help Me.

The people were friendly and accomodating. I arrived in the night they made me feel it would be safe. They helped me get a bus ticket wile I was on the tour and supported getting food delivered and a taxi when I needed to leave late inc late check in. That was very kind.

There isn’t so much to do in the area, but you can just take a taxi elsewhere.

The staff were really friendly and welcoming. There were a few different communal places to relax, and a supermarket nearby. Air conditioning in the room was much appreciated.

Loved this hostel. Sooooo nice. The owner is super friendly and they run the best day tour of the deserts 🌵 They are affordable and make sure everything is catered for. This really is the best hostel I’ve stayed at in Colombia and well priced, clean, friendly and quiet at night to sleep. Amazing

This is to be expected in backpacker hostels, but one of the couches was really dirty and gross.🤷‍♂️ but that was the only downside

The staff spoke English and were all so happy to help and extremely accommodating. The wifi was sufficient to stream a movie.

The location is little out of the way from the bus terminal, and there are no buses in the city so you need to take a taxi ($10,000-12,000). There are no lights positioned in the beds, so it is quite difficult to tidy things up at night if there are people sleeping in the room.

This hostel is well known by locals in the area. Just tell the taxi driver its name and he will take you there. I only used the hostel to spend one night, but the desert tour service it seems well organized and interesting in terms of quality/price ratio. The hostel is very welcoming. The beds have numerous outlets nearby.

Our first night, we had the Supreme Private, and it was great with the ensuite bathroom and large bed and aircon . Our 2nd night after we decided to extend we had a double room with 2 single beds it would have been perfect only the toilet was literally next door, so could hear it being used constantly through out the night and early morning showers with disturbed Our sleep so that was a bit disappointing. Great location for going to the Tatacoa Desert. We booked the tour through the hostel . It was a very good tour and would highly recommend! Staff are super nice and helpful . Good kitchen and common area.

Very little in the way of amenities nearby unfortunately (eg ATMs and places to eat). The bathrooms could be cleaner too.

A good hostel to visit the Tatacoa Desert from - the day trip the hostel organises is decent value for money and really enjoyable.

The room was clean and comfortable and the bathrooms were well kept too. The kitchen had everything you needed and the staff were friendly.
