The shower doors need locks! Apart from that nothing I can think of, I was just gutted I had to leave.

Incredible location and facilities. Very modern and cosy. Great dorms, each bed featuring a fan, light, and power socket + a curtain for privacy. Air con turned on during the night keeps the room cool. Close to a bunch of restaurants and the beach. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great swimming pool and rooftop terrace with a beautiful view over the city. Tasty breakfast. Fast Internet! Very enjoyable place overall.

Ammenities are great. The terrace nicely combines the restaurant, a coworking area, the pool and a communitary kitchen very well equipped. The hostel is clean and beautiful, and it is one block from the beach.

The check in process was perhaps one of the longest I ever had, signing 4 pages of paper and having to write down my email address and home address. It was impossible to use the kitchen, the reason mentioned was either a gas leak (!) or too much wind. I didn’t bother asking too much, as I just wanted to boil some water… The breakfast was too little for me, it is not a buffet like shown on the photos.

Well wish they offered more than a sheet on bed. I know it's hot here but nice to sleep with real cover in the cold. But it's understandable for the hot environment I suppose. I also thought it was a bit weird that the hotel has no food virtually and when it rains it rains into the hotel all over the place. Having said that my complaints are very minor the overall stay was good.

It’s a hostel but doesn’t look like one. The rooms, the hall, the TV room, the rooftop with pool, bar, and tables, etc, are perfect! There's a kitchen if you want to cook yourself, also a refrigerator where you can keep your food safe. Very clean and stylish, every room has air conditioning which is very important there, also includes a good breakfast (I think they can improve the amount of eggs served, it wasn't enough for me but anyway, that's not a big deal) The location is excellent, 2 blocks away from the bay and close to everything: ATMs, grocery stores, restaurants, drugs stores, etc. Last and very important, the staff is very friendly! They can help you with anything you need. This place is really worth it!

The shower was not hot. Having said that, it seems it is very common in Riohacha (and La Guajira) for water not to be heated. I suppose the weather is generally so hot that it doesn't really matter. Therefore, the shower is as hot as the day outside. Breakfast could have been more generous, but again, it didn't look out of line with the rest of our La Guajira experience.

Far nicer than I expected. It's the nicest hostel I've stayed in. We had a double bedroom, and it was like a hotel. The rooftop pool was a pleasant surprise. It is not big, but big enough for a refreshing plunge.
