How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Not that we didn't like the breakfast, but the food selection could be a bit more ample. But with this being said, in the future we would strongly consider staying here again.
The hotel and the rooms are very nice! The rooms are very comfortable, clean, new, spacious, and relaxing. The hotel self is located in a very safe area where you can find several shops that are open 24/7. The hotel is also only a few minutes away from some huge shopping centres which are also nice to visit. The quality of the room service food was also excellent.

Really good. Could have used sit up mats in the gym.
Beds were really comfortable! Great dark blinds for a really good sleep. Lots of restaurants around.

Overall attention to our requests, and attitude and service in the restaurant were mediocre. We were overcharged when we used the hotel’s taxi service.
The facilities were very nice and clean.

All is great!
Clean, quite (9th floor), comfy bed, great shower. Breakfast could have a few more things, but what they has was good. For 5 hot dishs, fruits, salad, soup and cerearls.6am-9:30am 4 minute taxi ride/10 minute walk to the US Embassy.

My email said I was supposed to pay $270.00 so when I arrived I paid $270.00. The next day I was told I owe some money for the booking but I said that’s not possible because I paid what my email said, they said that because of the exchanges rate I had to pay more and I told them impossible because my rate was in USD not COP anyhow the manager said he was going to call the front desk reps attention for not charging me the extra amount at check in which I find super wrong because it isn’t his fault. It’s managements fault to try and charge more than what my email said! That employee went above and beyond my expectations was super helpful and now I feel bad because the manager said he was going to get in trouble. The manager was my only inconvenience due to that. The beds are comfortable but they’re too small for a couple

I found the bed too soft, but that's a personnal preference. Neighborhood seemed just ok, but I was there for Corferias which was perfect.
Super clean and new. Breakfast was good. We were accomodated 2 out 3 morning when we had to leave before the official start of breakfast.

Not a single thing, the experience was so amazing, I have so many good things to say, but I will sum it up with totally awesome experience. Please never stop doing what you do, it works beyond and can say that with complete confidence.
The People that worked at this hotel were above and beyond customer service. I feel in love with all of them, they are the kindest, dearest people I have ever met and there job performance was 1000 percent everyday. Thank you, I look forward to booking with you again in November 2023.

The hotel is at short walking distance from Bogota's exhibition and convention centre. Otherwise, however, the surroundings is somewhat dull. In particular, there are are lots of restaurants, but exclusively fast food. No decent place available (except for the hotel's own restaurant).
I was impressed by the exceedingly friendly personal, they did not only respond rapidly and efficiently to each of my requests but sometimes even anticipated them correctly.
