The view of the mountains, valley and town below from the property was beautiful. We enjoyed the stroll through the countryside into town every day, and was nice to have a peaceful place to return to after a day of hiking and night out on the main town square. Homemade breakfast was artfully prepared and delicious. The host family was so warm and friendly and helpful!

When you stay in Jardin, this is the place to be. Everything is at a walking distance because of the Garrucha, but it is not in the centre so it is very quiet. There are a lot of birds in the garden. Lina and Camilo are the nicest. They make you feel very welcome. I also liked the way they treat their animals. They can all walk around and have a lot of space! The room is comfortable and it is very nice to be able to use the kitchen. There are also nice places to sit and chill around the house. We would definitely come back. Thanks for taking good care of us!

Having to leave!

I don’t even know where to start… if you are thinking about booking this place then just do it. The most perfect of stays. Beautiful views, kind and friendly hosts who really go out of their way to make you feel welcome, amazing fresh homemade (and healthy!) breakfast, warm shower, spotless rooms facing the view. Endless bird watching. Easy walk to the pueblo and a cheap tuk tuk back up the hill. Loved it so much we were checking out the house prices on the bus back to Medellin 😂 hopefully we’ll be back one day! Thanks for a lovely stay ❤️

My partner and I had a magical stay at Alojamiento Rural Jardín Consentido. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway in the mountains, this is it! We loved spending our days there observing/listening to birds, reading in hammocks with views of the hills, partaking in the exceptional, home-cooked breakfast, and learning about our hosts' home and farm. There were also tons of things to do in and around Jardín, and we found the town to be very accessible without a car. You can get there by foot (about 20 minutes), motochiva (about 5 minutes), or La Garrucha (the local cable car). Reserva Natural Jardín de Rocas was a highlight for us.

There was nothing I didn’t like. Beds could have been a little comfier but very minor. Kindly give us an extra pillow too :)

Very welcoming staff, made us feel at home. The views were incredible, very peaceful. The home made breakfast was beautiful! Rooms were very clean, shower was nice and warm. Gorgeous pets :) staff were also very helpful with booking tours. We really loved our stay here and would definitely stay again if we come to Jardin in future!

The view was incredible, very peaceful location with a lot of pretty birds, especially in the morning while we ate breakfast on the front patio. Nice sheltered rooftop terrace upstairs to relax in a hammock or around a table with the calm, friendly dog and cat.

Absolutely amazing, it’s faultless. The views were breathtaking. Money simply cannot buy the tranquility and beauty. The room was extremely clean with everything you needed. Each morning Cami made us a wonderful breakfast and helped us out whenever we required any. The property is 1km from central Jardin, so you may want to get a tuck tuck up, which was cheap. We didn’t want to leave and just fell in love with the place. Best place we have stayed at in our Colombia travels.

What a jem. This posada is lovely with a beautiful garden and nice view over Jardín. It is perfectly located, far enough to the center that you can really enjoy nature but very close to a nice path around the hills where you can find “la garrucha” the local cable car and a few nice places to eat. Lina and Camilo were amazing hosts, helping us with all the tour organization and activities as well as cooking us a great breakfast. You can tell they put a lot of care into their posada sand that makes you feel just at home. Don’t miss out on it!

Only little thing was the renovation of the long house built into the hillside didn’t allow much space for leg room on the loo. But the room was comfy with an antique armoire and a breezy location above town keeps it cool. Everything was impeccable and the rate not expensive, lovely to wake to coffee and fresh squeezed juice and watch the birds on the terrace in the morning sunlight. Can walk to a swimming hole on the river and there are trails nearby, and a basket weaver is their neighbor. The hotelito also has an upper terrace for yoga or reading a book in a hammock or making music or listening to it, or a movie. No TV in the room was a feature not a drawback. More relaxing. Lovely people and place, we’ll be back.

A lovely house and garden with warm personal service and breakfast. Enchanting view of the opposite mountains and tropical birds visiting every morning with a bird book to identify them and handmade art pieces from the art professor who owns it. His wife was very warm and helpful and we enjoyed meeting them both.

The room was a bit basic and quite small for three people, but the amazing location & very friendly owners made all up for that. It's located a bit out of the center so you need to walk for good 30 minutes or take a tuktuk, but only with that you can get such amazing views. :)

We loved our stay! The owners are super friendly, make some delicious breakfast and are very reachable to give some advice on the area. The garden and location are absolutely heaven! So peaceful to wake up with the sound of birds chirping in the garden, a rainbow in the valley and a good cup of coffee.

Everything about my time here was very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and they made me feel right at home. They even lined up a horseback riding trip through the mountains at a very reasonable price The view from this place was excellent. I am a birder, and this location has some feeding areas on the property, and many birds stopped by. The hikes in the immediate area were very good. Thanks for the fond memories of Jardin..

You are just right in paradise of Jardin, in the middle of nature. You can see so many birds from the terrace. The hosts are lovely, very supportive especially when you want to book activities. Wonderful breakfast. Very comfortable beds. Not many mosquitos. Also the price value is unbeatable. I will definetly come back. Thanks for everything and the unforgettable time in Jardin!

Such a beautiful place - the setting is incredible. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. It's easy to get to using the cable car, but you can also walk to town or get a moto taxi. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and organised great tours for us. The breakfast was gorgeous! I couldn't recommend this place more. We loved our stay.
