The location was excellent, short walk to town and exceptional views. Our room was wonderful. Lots of places to sit with different views plus small pool and sauna. Staff were always accommodating. Food was delicious.

Not a big deal but the jacuzzi wasn’t working and the wifi was rather temperamental! A cold shower next to the sauna would be a nice addition.

An amazing place to stay in Salento. The tree house style rooms are very spacious and have beautiful views on the valley. The staff were really kind and the breakfast was amazing. Also recommend eating dinner at Kawa as the food was excellent. They have their own footpath which goes to the main town and viewpoint, it’s about a 10 min walk. Loved the sauna!

Honestly I can't say any bad things about this place or the service. There is literally no bad remarks, it exceeded our expectations. Only incredible experiences that I'll treasure for ever. We will be back for sure!

Everything about booking, checkin in, the stay, the service and the checkout was exceptional! They helped us organise a taxi from the airport, sorted out all our day trips. We booked two different rooms for different parts of our stay and they moved all our luggage between rooms while we were out on day trips! The breakfast and food in general was incredible! NOT TO MENTION THE STUNNING VIEWS! Best hotel We've ever been in.

In some ways this is the most beautiful hotel I’ve ever stayed at, with vistas and cabinas that will truly take your breath away. The hotel staff is not only friendly but also committed to accommodating the desires of each traveler. Yuliana, who has connections with countless tours and excursions in the area, set us up for two consecutive days of riding with her own personal horses! She paired us with a local guide named Dilbert who was probably the most skilled horseman and trail riding instructor I’ve ever worked with. The worst part of the trip by far was leaving!

The only minor downside was the lack of air conditioning or a fan in the rooms, which could be a bit uncomfortable during warmer days. Despite this, I would highly recommend the hotel for its outstanding hospitality, scenic views, and convenient location for an enjoyable stay in Salento.

Our stay at Kawa was a delightful experience. The host was truly amazing - very attentive and flexible, ensuring a comfortable stay. The rooms were spacious and offered unrivalled and incredible views of the surrounding mountains. Additionally, the hotel's location was perfect, just a short 10-minute walk to Salento, making it convenient to explore the town. The breakfast choices were also delicious and varied.

It was an excellent stay. Beautiful place with majestic views at Cocora Valley. Everything was well organised, from picking us up at the airport to organising the tour by horses and to coffee farm. Staff really cool and helpful. Wish we could have stayed little longer. Till next time.

There was sufficient food on the dinner plats but I would love to have more of it because it was so tasty, especially for the price.

The room was beautiful with A fantastic view. Bed was extremely comfortable. Bathroom very clean and nice, going out to the bath outside which was very cosy at night(our particular room had a bath outside) The food at the hotel was at the pricier side particularly for colombian standards, Albeit very delicious and i would recommend. Breakfast was incredible as well. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I suggest getting a massage while there.

This hotel was the best one we stayed at during our trip to Colombia!!! Everything was simply amazing! I can only confirm what the other positive reviews are saying. The staff is great, everything was very well organized. The breakfast is excellent and you can choose from various options, you can use the jacuzzi for one hour per day, there are great options for some tours in the area and it is very close to Salento town with the private path they have and yet quiet and peaceful. And the view is just breathtaking! The food in the restaurant is outstanding! I can only thank you for the great time we had and I would definitely come back if I come to Colombia!

Kawa is located in an absolutely stunning location with incredible and breathtaking views overlooking the mountains (pictures on their website don’t do justice). The hotel is located 5-10 min walk from the town of Salento. The rooms are very clean, comfortable are well equipped with all required amenities. The staff especially Eduardo, Jorge and Carlos went over and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. They organised all my tours, taxis. The food was excellent especially the trout! My only regret is that I didn’t stay for longer.

Could cost less.

Reaching the hotel requires some walking (much less using the shortcut that we were told when checking-in), but it's a plus. Very friendly and professional check-in. Beautiful facilities. Views meet and exceed expectations. The lodge was excellent: contrary to what other comments say, it was not cold at all, and there were no mosquitos in the room. Bathroom and jacuzzi were excellent. We would definitely come back.

Great space to rest! We regret we booked only 2 nights there. The room was very clean and unexpectedly free of any bugs (we stayed in other 4***** resorts in the jungle with ants and other insects everywhere). Staff super friendly, packed us a breakfast for our 5am checkout which was very nice.

The balcony door was self locking so we got locked out twice!
