I ended up switching to one of the cabanas which was lovely (dorm was nice too, I just needed a quiet non-dorm night). Staff is super lovely. Setting is very rustic and eco friendly. Super chill space.

I loved La Aldea! The hosts were great and super helpful. The property gets a lot of young international travelers so you get to know a lot of cool people. Super recommend for anyone looking to go to Palomino!

The dormitory is a wooden structure and it’s noisy when somebody walks on it, especially by night.. otherwise everything went really well :)

Everything! My favourite place in Colombia so far! Kike is just a wonderful and inspiring human being and this place felt like home from the moment I arrived. It's a whole different world inside Palomino. It's a peaceful and natural garden, full of life, plants and animals, with an amazing energy and they work with a sustainable and respectful approach for everything. On top of it, the place is always welcoming musicians and I had some really amazing jam sessions there. As a musician, it was the perfect getaway for me, I just couldn't leave! But otherwise it's definitely a beautiful, social, open minded and inspiring place, made with lot of love! Just a 10-15min walk to the beach or to the town. Slept in hammocks, dorms and private. Can recommend all of them depending on your budget. Definitely a great value for money too! Thank you so much for this magical stay, I hope to come back real soon!!

In the night there are not much lights on the way back to hostel from Main Street. So as a woman bit scared to walk in the late time. Better take taxi.

People are friendly and the place was thinking bout nature. You can use kitchen and place for washing and dry. People loves music session there but they respect other people after 11pm

A lot of mosquitos, but it is not something they can do anything about.

There was a really good vibe in this hostel, which made our stay in Palomino. Lots of hammocks to chill. The room itself was fine, we felled a bit outskirts because we booked the only private room they have and people mostly sleep in hammocks or dorms. Every place to sleep has mosquito nets, even the hammocks. Short walk to the sea and Center for some shops and food.

Super chill and nice vibe. We were really sad to leave. A lot of long-term backpackers there, feels like family and even just staying one night some of them made us feel welcome! The owner is super friendly and chatted with us and gave good tips for traveling. Love the hippie vibe, hopefully will come back one day :)

La aldea is a vibe. It's different than anything I met in other hostels. It's more like a community. That's why I came back and will probably :) The people there will make you feel at home on the other side of the world or even better ;) Common cooking, making music, art, talks filled my heart with everything what's good. The whole place is full of natural life, the vibes and energies of the people are great. The Hostel has à great location, close to local markets, party places and the beach. Amazing place to connect with nature.

In the rainy season the paths to the hostel and inside the hostel get really really muddy so it’s not a comfortable walk if you have luggage. The private cabin is not in the greatest shape any more but it’s clean and the bed is comfortable so todo bien ;)

This place has nice vibes, it’s good that it’s a bit outside of the Main Street so you don’t hear so much noise in the weekends. Very chill and the kitchen is well equipped pod basic cooking for yourself

This is my first time staying in a ecohostel , and sharing my room , but I found the experience to be very relaxed , comfortable , and I love everything , I stayed in a comfortable and clean bed in a share room , the place was very clean, the room was fresh and felt little bit secluded , I had a great night sleeping , share bathrooms were clean always , and they have also option of compost bathroom which was my first experience using it ..they also nice looking bathroom and the experience is interesting , I didn't felt any smell and bathroom was really clean , the hosts are wonderful people , and all people staying there was also very nice . In general I had a great experience and I def would stay there again anytime

On weekends there is loud music and bass from the neighbor until the early morning. You won't be able to sleep at night. The reception should inform guests about that beforehand and provide or sell very good noise cancelling earplugs proactively. There could be also put a noise-reducing wall into the sleeping room. Currently there is no wall at all towards the loud music. On booking.com the hostel makes the impression of a quite place with quite hours and disallowing parties. these rules doesn't help if there is a very loud neighbor
