Had some issues with my toilet not flushing which was poor timing due to my recent pacific coast intestinal distress. Took three times telling reception to get that atrocity cleared up. Bills itself as a party hostel but it was super quiet for me and had zero atmosphere.

It was big and a pretty cool old building. In a decent location I guess. Downtown SM isn’t much special.

Coworking space, nice place for meeting people. I recommend the 8 beds shared bedroom because there is less noise. The 8 shared bedroom is on Flamingo side, so the noise is not strong as in the other shared rooms.

The room has holes in the walls and mould damage. Definitely a water leaking problem that needs to be fixed. The room was not cleaned properly. The bed frame was sticky, there was hair from previous guests in the shower and bathroom sink. It felt dirty overall.

We knew this was a party hostel so be aware when booking that there is loud music pumping from the rooftop, until the early hours of the morning. We didn't mind as we are a young couple that always likes to party. There is also a bar on the middle level with lots of games to play while drinking. The bars and commons eating areas are great for socialising and having fun. It's a great place to stay out late as the city is very unsafe at night and i didn't feel comfortable walking around the streets at dark.

I think this seemed like a place that everyone went for a night out including people that don’t stay there. nice enough staff, bathrooms in dorms and elsewhere which was great. definitely a party hostel but clean. I was absolutely fine but heard that other people had issues with safety in the area but I think that’s an issue of being aware an careful. hostel is safe.

First of all, staying here really depends on the kind of traveler you are. This is a thing the reception asks about clearly, making sure the guests know it is a party hostel. During the week Mon - Wed, the music ends at 12.45 am, the other days around 2.45 am. So if you are looking for a good solid night of sleep, then maybe find something else. But if you can deal with it and you're looking for a good place to do so work, then the Flamingo part, the private rooms, give you access to a great coworking space. The facilities themselves are excellent. There is a nice pool and access to the rooftop pool in the Masaya. The parties were good to experience and the location was excellent. This place is great if you know what it is about and if it fits your needs.

Stuff doesn't pay so much attention to the clients. Sometimes kind of rude, not friendly at all... except for the girl in reception (noemi) who was very kind! It really gets loud on Saturday night until 4- 4.30 am and even if they warn you you could not imagine how loud the music sounds in your room..

Everything was perfect there, I loved that the barrooms were cleaned frequently, the staff were so helpful and friendly. I shared room with 8 people and I didn’t had any inconvenience. I liked that each bed had a little and strong fan, a night light and a plug to charge my cellphone. Each bedroom had lockers so I let my bags there and it makes me feel comfortable and safe, of course I had to get a lock with me. The pool was good, clean and it wasn’t so deep. The restaurant was good and the rooftop was amazing, it is so big, prices there were fair and the DJ was the best, I literally didn’t sit down once I started dancing. The location was perfect because it’s close to the malecón, the marked square and there were buses that go to the principal places in Santa Marta. I really enjoyed my time there.

It is also one of the best party place of the city (i wish i knew it before), so not for those who want to be relaxed. Exept that, the room was extremely hot inside. Although it has fans everywhere (the main one on the roof and every bed), outside of the room the temperature was way more pleasant instead

There’s not really a place to comfortably chill. The chairs are the pool are limited and not comfortable to chill really. The staff working at the bar on the 1st floor weren’t too focussed on guests. Receptions employees were amazing!

The location is great, close to all the activities, the square etc. the beds were very comfortable, rooms were dark. I didn’t stay there in the weekend, so for me there wasn’t a lot of noise in the nights. Internet functions very well.

The hostel was great. Had everything we needed. Great club on the rooftop, we stayed in a 4 person room which was very clean. I will say you should bring noise cancelling headphones or ear plugs since it's a party hostel.

Sleeping while their is a party is difficult, but they warn you for this. Its a party hostel and the parties are great. However i find that if the party is not full, they could dosage the volume of the party in some areas so talking is easier and more relaxed. But this is not a common thing in Colombia Ive noticed. So not really a complaint, just a feedback ;) Thanks a lot!

The location is great, staff is very helpful and kind. The showers are clean, check out is late. The parties are very good. They have a partnership with another hostel 2 min walking where you can use the pool on the rooftop. The food is tasty, the cleaning ladies are very nice.
