The room was great and the balcony was huge and amazing!! The bed was comfy, the shower was hot and powerful, and the staff were all great. I arrived around noon and they were strict with the 3p check in. It was a great place, in the middle of downtown. And only a 10 min drive to the Rumicacha bridge where I crossed over and hung out in Ecuador for 10 mins......very cool experience. Also you have to head to El Charco and try the "cuy" So here comes my inner Karen....two things that annoyed me: 1. There was only one tiny garbage can in the bathroom and none out in the LR/bedroom. Please supply a second can. 2. The toilet seat.cover didn't go all the way back and so each time you sat down, it started to close and just rested on your back till you got up again. Just gross. Either .ake it stay up so it doesn't touch you, or remove it altogether 🤷‍♀️

I didn’t like that I couldn’t pay with my credit card for my hotel bill. I have been to many placeres around the world including Medellin, Bogota, Cartagena, Santa Marta and Barranquilla in Colombia. This is the only place I couldn’t use my credit card.

The hot water takes a bit to reach upper floors, and I hate to waste water. But other than, LOFT is a gem.

I simply LOVED every single minute of my stay at LOFT. My favorite part? The staff. THE WAITERS ARE THE BEST!!! as it is the amazing food and huge portions (I had lunch and dinner for the price of one!). As a woman traveling on my own, I felt so cared for and safe at this location. Oh, and did I mention the hot tea waiting for me at the end of the day? And regarding the WI-FI, I took video calls without a problem during my entire stay and the signal was strong no matter the time of the day. This place is the best, but its staff makes it even better. Period.

I was annoyed. I had to pay 13 dollars for a plastic reta gel that was used to open the door. I left it on counter when I checked out. Staff claimed they did not have it. Would not let me leave until I paid they z13 dollars. Robbery fir a stupid plastic card

Ipiales is rather chilly at night and the hotel does not provide heating; rooms on the street are noisy (bad isolation is clearly a widespread issue in Colombian hotels).

Comfortable modern hotel with spacious rooms in the centre of Ipiales, certainly one of the best if not the best option in town; great price-quality.
