Great location in trendy Getsemani with plenty of restaurants close by. The entrance to the old walled centre of Cartagena is about a 10 minute walk. Our room was spacious and comfortable and as described. It is a small hotel but they had a cafe, where breakfast is served, which was open all day for drinks and food. The hop on hop off tourist bus stop is also not far away. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel's design is lovely, the bed comfortable, the room spacious, the staff wonderful, and the "lounge" area was a nice bonus for escaping from the heat of the day. The view of the harbor is lovely from the roof. Breakfast was great.

This hotel is wonderful. Charming and beautifully designed. I loved the bed and the bathroom. I enjoyed hanging out in the cafe downstairs. The staff couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. I love the location and everything about this hotel.

Lunala, was a perfect base to explore Getsemani, on a quiet street, yet easily within reach of the main tourist areas. Equally walkable to the old historic area and Manga (just to get the feel for the residential side, by the port). The breakfast was delicious and served in their cafe which had its own local vibe that was enjoyable. The beds are the most comfortable I have ever slept in as were the pillows. The staff are really welcoming and helpful. Thank you for making our stay such a pleasure.

The breakfast is taken in the adjacent cafe but only a limited part of the menu is included. Too bad for example that latte or granola is not included. But what is included is very good.

Great hotel with very professional and friendly staff. The hotel is charming and the room very nice. It is well located, within walkable distance from all interesting sites while isolated enough to stay quiet. The swimming pool and outdoor patio is great place to enjoy the sunset. Highly recommended hotel.

The ameneties were nice in the rooms however we had some general trouble with water pressure & heat/cold. From what I've read this is somewhat common.

Staff was great! Our spanish isn't great so communicating was somewhat choppy, but they were very lovely and helpful. The breakfast in the AM is awesome! We were excited each day for it!!

This hotel was great for my stay and in a perfect location in Getsemani. It was within walking distance of some great places to eat and the beautiful walled city. The staff was superb and provided everything that I needed. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Cartagena

Good location in Getsemani. The street is not too crowded or noisy and there are excellent restaurants within blocks, and an easy walk to the old town. We enjoyed the small pool on the roof and the view from the covered porch up top. It is quite hot outside, though, and the condenser units for the air conditioners are on the roof next to the porch so it is a little noisy and the heat from the condenser units blows across the porch periodically. But if there is a good breeze, it’s nice up there. The pool was the perfect way to cool off mid afternoon. Wi-Fi was decent. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and attentive. Good, filling breakfast. In fact, we were so full after their free breakfast that we skipped lunch on both days that we stayed there.

There is some construction next door that is very loud in the morning.

The staff and accommodations at the hotel were fantastic. The room was very nice, and they provided housecleaning every day. The breakfast was delicious and a generous portion. And Jessica went above and beyond helping us with arranging a couple excursions.

Cons: - In such a hot place like Cartagena, it would have been tasteful to offer free drinking water throughout the stay, the hotel we stayed prior to Lunalá offered water, tea and coffee and that made a huge difference. - Breakfast took a very long time to get ready. I understand that there was only one person there, but we stayed over 1 hour at the breakfast room, when we could have been strolling around the city. The quantities are very large so it seems like a waste of food. - Even though the room was soundproof, we could still hear what was going on outside the door and the balcony, which could be a little annoying. - Shower was not completely enclosed by the glass so the floor of the bathroom would be constantly wet.

Pros: - Great location in the heart of Getsemaní and also very close to the walled city. - Excellent service from all the staff, I can’t thank them enough for being so kind and helpful! They always assisted us with a smile on their faces, so we are very grateful! - Spacious and clean room with comfortable bed. - Tasty breakfast (not buffet, you ask what you like). - Cosy small pool with a beautiful lounge that has a fabulous water view.

We just stayed for 1 night, because we had to catch a flight the next day. The receptionist Jessica was very kind and helped us with all of our questions. We could still use the pool en facilities after checking out at 12.00 hrs. Breakfast was very good, good coffee. They also speak English. The room smelled amazing and the hotel is very stylish.
