I can’t think of anything negative to say about the hostile

I stayed in a private room for three or four days. Of all of the hostels in which I’ve stayed in South America, the staff here is the most helpful. They also organize activities and the general vibe is great. Very social, but not a loud party hostel. I can’t think of anything bad to say about the hostel.

A perfect hostel in the heart of the city. The room was clean and comfortable, the garden is a real pleasure to hang out in, but the place is absolutely made by the amazing staff. I've never been to a hostel with such wonderful staff, always happy to talk, experts in everything the region has to offer and superb in every way. We would not have been able to plan our Camino Real hike without all of their help and expertise. Highly recommend this hostel.

Property was lovey and set up to be social but not too loud. Most of the staff were absolutely lovely with excellent recommendations on activities and local restaurants, the owner takes great care to recommend the safest and most professional companies for all the local activities!

Absolutely everything was fantastic. The staff was amazing, they gave great recomendations for activites in and around San Gil, you can book things directly through them, each and every one was friendly and helpful. They also organize their activities (we went to play tejo). As far as the hostel, we stayed in a private room, it was clean and spacious, comfortable, just the bed is quite noisy. Truly a 10/10 experience.

The rooms close to the entrance are a little bit noisy, so if somebody is a little bit sensitive with noise please ask for a room downstairs to the garden.

We felt really welcome and loved the atmosphere in the whole Hostel. It was also a great places to rest and chill after the adventures in the morning. The whole team was super friendly and helpful organizing activities. We loved to stay there and would come back anytime.

I loved absolutely everything in Macondo! My friend reccomend me that place so I went there for Christmas and had The best time. It feels like home, really comfy, friendly staff, the owner made sure we can make Christmas dinner and enjoy time. I loved it :) it is really big and have a lot of different chill zones. Also The kitchen was really nice!

The staff were brilliant! Very accommodating as we had to change the dates of our stay twice due to sickness. The staff were also great with recommendations for activities and places to go around San Gil. The hostel is basic but extremely clean and has a really nice outdoor area. Good location too. Definitely would recommend.

Just that we didn’t get chance to use the hot tub!

The staff were super helpful in organising fun activities for you to do and events in the evening. Loved playing football and Tejo Tuesday was fun and a good way to meet other travellers. Great location to reach everything and close to the bus terminal to get to the surrounding villages!

Best place to stay in San Gil! Very nice and helpful staff that will support with whatever activities or tours you’re planning to do and also with further traveling. Basic rooms, nice common area and even nicer garden with jacuzzi. City center, restaurants, shops nearby. Free coffee, drinking water. Nice group activities provided by the hostel!

There was nothing to complain about.

The hostel was everything you could want from a hostel. It was clean and social, the staff were excellent, the kitchen was well stocked, it was in an excellent location, and organising all the activities through the hostel was super convenient. The owner is great to chat to and has plenty of recommendations for travelling through Colombia!

The owner of the hostel are very helpful. He always organize the free activities to the guests. we stayed 4 nights in the double took with the toilet. It is valuable.

Loved how much they help with tours and everything you need. The hostel has such a great vibe aswell if you want to just relax and chill. I would recommend staying here to everyone I tell about going to san gil. All the workers are amazing and go above and beyond. They have little free experiences aswell like tejo, Spanish lessons and football. It honestly is the best place we stayed extra nights because we loved it that much. San gil is the nicest place and this hostel accomodate you in every way possible. The owner is amazing aswell. I needed help with medication and he came to help translate everything. Can’t express on how great this place is
