Upon trying to pay for our stay, the card machine “failed” so staff offered for us to do it later. Upon 6-8 attempts (no apology from staff about this issue or offer of alternatives) they said we could pay in full on last day of check out. Last day of check out card machine still not working, no apology, no assistance, and given that the internet in the hostel was very fast I believe this was fraud to ensure we paid them cash. We nearly missed our flight as they forced us to give them cash which cost us more money in taxi fees and money conversion, absolutely no discount offered by team. Disgusting in 2023

Great location and quiet hotel

The bathroom smelled of mould. It was so bad that having a shower or going to the toilet were not pleasant at all and we needed to keep the door closed at all times so the room would not smell. (We stayed in room 15 at the very end.)

The hotel couldn't find my reservation when I arrived. I was lucky that they happened to have another room available and they gave that to me. They couldn't guarantee the same price till the next day. I don't recommend booking for this reason. They also gave us a room right next to the reception, so we were woken up by noise in the morning. The bathroom was tiny and the room did not have enough lighting or charging ports. Overall, this was not worth the price we paid.

The common area is very pretty and green.

The air in the room was terrible and Ou couldn‘t open the window. Aircon was super noisy, so not anoption for the night. Breakfast was super basic and didn‘t look fresh. The staff was the first in Colombia not being friendly and supportive. And on top it is quite out of town.

The hotel was not bad and the basic room quite ok. Bathroom was relatively new, but only cold water as expected.

the AC took a while to start in the room and it was soo hot but eventually it kicked in. make sure you check everything in room and that you don’t leave anything behind even if you’re in a rush because you may not get it back. i accidentally left 3 belongings in room rushing out and returned a few days later after communicating with the hotel about it, only one thing was returned which didn’t have use to anyone. the owner compensated me for my loss though which was the correct thing to do and I appreciated that. just make sure you don’t forget anything to avoid issues.

we stayed one night only but the breakfast buffet was good. The property is beautiful and quiet. Alejandra the administrator at front desk is very friendly, kind and helpful.

The gardens are nice, but AC is marginal, and it was very noisy as they seemed to be doing construction work.

This is a typical backwoods Colombian hotel. It isn’t expensive, but you get no luxury.

Hard bed, traffic noise, noise from kitchen. Keys are not secure and there is no way to secure the door except the ordinary lock. 10 cm gap under door allows insects to enter at night.

This is on the good end of bad Columbian hotels.

We booked two rooms. One of them had a strong mouldy smell and they expected us to just run the aircon to get rid of the smell which didn't work. We had to persist in order to be moved to another hotel owned by them. It ruined our night of rest as it took more than an hour to get it solved. The other room was nice but had a weird layout having 4 steps that let to the bed and were a tripping hazard when going to the toilet at night.

Good buffet breakfast. Nice regional back garden.
