It is a little difficult to find - I wouldn’t recommend arriving at night if you are on your own.

This was just such a perfect base in Bogotá. It is just minutes from the main square, the museums and loads of nice cafes and restaurants. But it is set back from the road so it is quite quiet. It has a kitchen and a living room so you can really feel at home. Fernanda was amazingly kind and helpful and made me feel so welcome and comfortable which is so nice when you are travelling alone! I am so pleased that I stayed here for the last days of my trip as it really meant I ended my trip to Colombia on a high.

We would have liked to have the choise betwenn coffee and tea, but that is not important.

Wonderful place to stay. Everything was perfect. Our hostess answered the phone when it was necessary for the taxi driver. Then a warm welcoming with a nice cup of tea and explanations. Nice and very corfortable bed, hot shower. This is an old renovated home with a lot of taste. Fernanda our hostess is a wonderful young lady, with an adorable laugh ! Thank you for all and hospitality. The cat is sweet !

It's noisy outside most of the night on weekends. Good trade-off for the great location, bring earplugs or join the party!

Comfortable, quiet and light room with a nice bathroom. Excellent location near restaurants and bars. Super lovely host who let us use the common areas before a late flight. Great kitchen and living room area.

Everything. I arrived late evening after a long flight from Madrid. I was greeted by Fernanda, who welcomed me, showed the shared spaces and then my room. The room was very large, comfortable, clean and well furnished. The communal areas are quaint and cozy and the kitchen is well equipped and very clean. The guest house is well located to the centre and it sits in a vibrant area and street. Fernanda was really helpful with suggestions and recommendations. This was definitely a great place to stay and would highly recommend the guest house for those who are seeking a calm oasis. Thanks Reena

I can’t recommend Magdalena Guest House enough. We stayed here twice during our stay in Colombia and Fernanda went above and beyond both times for us. She even helped us get a room at 2 o’clock in the morning when I had messed up my reservation and booked for the wrong day. Lovely hotel, comfy beds, and you feel like family. Thank you!!

The house is modern, clean, cozy and very well located. Being able to use filtered water and tea as you like it’s a nice perk. My bed was VERY comfortable and I slept very well. It was also surprisingly quiet at night, despite the central location. The house wouldn’t be that fantastic if if Fernanda was not there! She is an amazing host, super friendly and kind. She made me feel like home and gave me the greatest recommendations to enjoy my time in Bogota. Definitely would go again and highly recommend to others
