Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

CanadaThe hike into the property is long - about 1.6 km total from the centre of town. It’s fine during the day, but is buggy in the afternoon and there is absolutely no lighting at night, meaning you’re hiking through the jungle with your flashlights - I wish there was some solar lighting or something to guide your path once you’re on the property. There’s a bridge that’s quite rickety you have to cross - really hope this gets fixed soon! And be prepared to see lots of critters in your room - the bungalows aren’t completely sealed and the netting is a bit old, so there were a lot of bugs, a few geckos, and even a bird at one point. This is manageable but I do wish the mosquito netting on the bed was more secure for peace of mind.
It’s a beautiful property with a lot of charm - the farm birds and cats were awesome to interact with, the room is beautiful and spacious with a super comfortable bed, and Nore is incredibly kind and so accommodating! Breakfast was great as well. Really enjoyed hanging out at Minca Glamping during the day - it’s a great place to just relax.

United KingdomNothing. Perfect. Loved it!
Comfortable cabins out in the forest a short walk from town. Incredibly friendly staff and great breakfast. If you like the sound of the forest, incredible birds and a sense of peace and isolation for total relaxation, this is the place for you (if you don’t like insects or a walk to the place over a rickety bridge then maybe not - for me this was part of the charm). Lots to do nearby - cocoa/coffee tours, visit to waterfalls and early morning birdwatching - all highly recommended. And there are great food and coffee spots in town - but don’t come back too late unless you have a good torch!

PolandWatch out for the mosquitos - it took them 5 min to bite all around my legs.
Location - 10-15 minutes walk from the center, through safe area. To get to the cabin, located literarilly in the jungle, one has to walk up-hill for about 7 minutes (from the gate): through the jungle, corssing the river via the hanging bridge, hoping over the creek. And the experience itself, worth every money! The staff helps to carry the luggage, if necessarily. The cabin, very comfortable (great comfortable bed, hammock, coffee machine) is located in the jungle what makes it a true sanctuary! Especially that despite heat and no air conditioning (the cabin's 3 walls are made of metal net) there is very pleasent low temperature, and fresh air. The staff is friendly and helpful, the breakfast excellent. You can truły relax there, enjoy the nature, birds (including hen and cats).

Poland- For us it was not a problem, but please be affraid that road and connection to the Minca Glamping could not be easy for small kids or older people- it is steep and requires some effort
- Such a wonderful and nice hosts! They are really helpful and kind - Delicuous breakfasts - Incredible views and opportunity to watch birds - Nearly there is a small coffe plantation - you can buy a local coffee and take some pictures with a tucan :)

CanadaWhat we at first didn’t like became part of the adventure. It’s a ten minute walk into Minca town but first you have to walk 15 minutes from your cabin to the road through the jungle on a trail with stairs and hills and crossing a River on a bamboo bridge. It’s part of the experience of the place and the owners son helps you with your bags when you arrive and leave.
Amazing spot in Minca to enjoy the jungle sounds and have a peaceful time. We loved our cabana with hammocks, the hosts, the breakfasts. The cabana is gorgeous with bamboo and mosquito nets and amazing shower with jungle views. Having screens for walls really immerses you in the tropical rainforest.

RomaniaLocation is amazing. Right in the middle of the nature! The family that runs the place is so kind in helpful. I had my foot injured and they offered to help me with my luggage (which was huge by the way). You feel that you are part of family there, they explain a lot of things about wildlife and plants, even they have a natural pool & jacuzzi ...if ypu go there it worth to give a try. The road until you reach the reception is so beautiful..really liked the bamboo bridge! They can help with organising tour (don't miss the birding tour in Minca)...also they organised my shuttle to the airport and everything went so smoothly. Thank you so much for a delicious breakfast and all the experiente that you offer for each person that stays at Minca Glamping. Definitely a place where I would like to come back. Feliz Navidad!

GermanyCould be a note in description about 20 minute walk to accommodation (we would have worn proper shoes !) Coffee at breakfast very weak.
Felt like own private jungle cabin with comfy hammock inside. We enjoyed being able to make our own (strong) coffee in the morning and to sit on the balcony area watching and listening to the birds. Appreciate the free filter water top up and breakfast was good.

AustraliaAccess to the place - quite a long walk, no taxis drop you at the location, when getting to the place it has a muddy uneven path, crossing bridges etc if you have poor knees and ankles or not the right shoes I wouldn’t recommend staying here, also only cold showers.
Off the grid, relaxing, great views.

FranceIt was my favorite activity of my 3 weeks travel in Colombia! I loved my stay there! It was like a fairy tail, relaxing into this jungle, with all of the nature, the diversity of the plants around us, waking up in the morning by the birds, walking through the river to go out. It was a paradise! Of course the hosts were so hospital and incredible! This experience will always stay in my memory!

United KingdomBe aware of the walk, it is quite long from Minca central and through some muddy jungle paths but we didn't mind as that means you feel more secluded and peaceful which is what we wanted.
The hosts Nore and Carlos are really good and lovely people. The place feels like you are in the jungle and waking up to a view of mountains and the sounds of the jungle was wonderful. View this as an experience not just a place to stay.

United KingdomOur favourite stay in Columbia so far! Only a 15min walk from Minca town and also close to two beautiful waterfalls (the hotel provides all the information you need). Our villa was clean and spacious with a queen bed, luxury bathroom, coffee machine and seating area. It was surrounded by forest and wildlife so we didn’t have to go far to see amazing animals like Toucans! The lady running the site was really friendly and helpful. She helped us book a coffee tour next door and helped us to spot the Toucans! We wish we had stayed longer. Thank you!

GermanyWe really enjoyed the time at Minca Glamping. The location outside of the village, in the middle of nature, was perfect for us. We loved our little cabin very much. The open design gave us the feeling of sleeping outside. The noises from all the animals were amazing. In addition, everything was super clean and comfortably furnished. The breakfast was delicious and the owners were very friendly and helpful.

CanadaNothing. It was all great.
We loved everything. The family/staff were wonderful; very friendly and helpful. We were given a wonderful fruit drink at check-in. The accommodation was wonderful and the environment great. The accommodation is open to the outside with screening and it makes for a wonderful sleeping and relaxing experience. The quality of the accommodation, chairs, hammocks, while rustic are very good quality and totally fit with the cabins. The bamboo construction is just wonderful. If you want the ideal get away and relaxation spot you will not find better. I also liked that while you are definitely in the jungle the grounds are lightly gardened and tended which just adds to the beauty.
