Property needs little maintenance, specially on the walking paths to the cabins overall everything is fine.

I love that this place is close to main road where the bus drop you off, and walking distance to sightseen natural reserves, the owner provide tours to the region if you don't have any plans ahead.

The place is a bit old and just a bit of renovation would make it even better.

The place is amazing and the owner fortunately speaks a very good English so it was easy to communicate. He gave us a lot of advise and it was a pleasure chatting with him. The place is nice and it is in the middle of the jungle, easy to get there with the puclic bus that comes feo Leticia. We staid two nights and we had dinner at the lodge and we were really pleased and happy with the food. Very nice experience. Interbet was great, much better then in Leticia, my wife and I are digital nomads and we really enjoyed the good internet connection.

Visitors should be aware that the showers do not have hot water. But this is normal at many lodgings in the area, and is not a big deal because the water isn't very cold, and neither is the ambient air!

I had a great stay! My cabin was super charming--rustic but comfortable. There were many birds, and occasional monkeys and other cool wildlife, passing through, which I enjoyed immensely. The restaurant on site was great for all meals of the day (breakfast was included, the restaurant was open to the public for lunch, and dinner could be requested), and the food was excellent. There were multiple nature reserves nearby, which were easy to walk to, as was Las Amazonas Balneario-Restaurant (swimming pool & restaurant).

The lodge is very spartan. Our was very close to an area full of chickens - so it was quite noisy. In the bathroom there is no soap or anything else

The lodges are actually in the jungle and the atmosphere is very nice and wild. They are quite far from Leticia, but you can reach them by public bus in less than 30 minutes

I really liked everything

It feels like in the middle of a jungle, very peaceful , cosy and beautiful, sound of the selva is breathtaking, little jungle huts are as good and as wooden as they get and the restaurant on the premises is wonderful, tasty rich and filling breakfast included, i requested gluten free vegan and they delivered most wonderful options evey time, and part of the food is also grow in the land which is amazing. The owners are very friendly and helpful and share stories and give recommendations all staff is also very lovely friendly. I had 4 most relaxing days in my last 10 years here, deep rest and self love time. Thanks for this rare opportunity 🙏💗🌸

We had an excellent stay. We initially booked one night and finally we stayed 3 nights. It was so relaxing, the place is amazing. All the huts are cool, with nice matreses and a small balcony outside to relax. The bus stop is just outside the lodje. Totally recommended.

We extended our stay because we all loved Omshanty so much. The kids LOVED staying in the jungle. The food was delicious and the tours the host scheduled were amazing. The host is wonderful and goes above and beyond to accommodate guests and ensure your stay is memorable.

We liked everything.

The location out of the city was nice. The kids loved that they could walk around and explore. The area feels very safe. The public bus to leticia was easy to navigate and stops in front of the lodge. The food was exceptional and the kitchen staff was very friendly. Across the street is two small stores with street food. The lodge room had plenty of beds with mosquito nets, a porch to sit on, electricity, wifi, a bathroom and a shower. The shared kitchen had a refrigerator for drinks. House keeping changed our sheets and cleaned the bathroom which was a pleasant surprise. The host was incredibly helpful organizing tours for our family. We loved our stay at Omshanty. The kids are already planning a return trip and say Colombia is one of their favorite countries.

Omshanty is an amazing place, in the middle of the jungle, with all the confort one might need, as every lodge disposes of water and electricity. We have spent a wonderful week with cheerful and helpful people, fresh and delicious food prepared on the spot. The camu camu juice is a must. :) Omshanty organizes wonderful activities with locals (visits in the jungle, boat trips on the Amazon) which makes everything an unique experience. When it's not raining during nighttime and the sky it's clear, always stargaze in the garden! It's free and unforgetable. If you're lucky you might spot monkeys in the trees.

really nice place in the middle of the jungle but at the same time just 20 minutes by bus from the city, we really enjoyed the place and listening to the sounds of the animals during the night! The tours are really nice with local guides and cheaper than the ones you can find in the city of leticia.

The kitchen could have been better equipped, especially considering the remoteness of the lodge and lack of dinner options around. It only had one pot (without handles) and a few pans (without handles too), didn’t have detergent and was also missing a few other things like a can opener and a bottle opener. Still a functional kitchen, just very basic.

We loved our stay at Omshanty! The lodges were clean and comfortable, the bathroom looked like it had been recently renovated and the mosquito nets kept mosquitoes out! The staff we interacted with on the property were all lovely and helpful, willing to help or give advice. We also organised local tours with indigenous guides through Omshanty. The minibus into town is also really convenient, runs often and is very affordable. Perfect to get a few groceries or jump on a tour in town. We highly recommend staying at Omshanty.

It was quite far from city center, which meant time and money to move from Leticia but that was also quite charming, being away from the town.

Our stay in the spacious lodges of Omshanty was really nice. Surrounded by beautiful flora it's the perfect place to relax in a hammock for a few days. There are two places to swim close by. They have a kitchen, but with no groceriesstore nearby we chose to eat at the restaurant at the beginning of the resort. They are open from 7 - 16 and from 18.30-19.30. If you look for more adventure; they offer jungletour aswell for reasonable prices (up to 7 days!) Due to lack of time we 'only' did a one-day-tour. Because you're 11 km's away from Leticia itself the jungle is close by. The guide had a lot of knowledge. The owner Kike and his staff are really friendly and do their best to make the best of your stay.

Fantastic stay at Omshanty. We were greeted upon arrival and enjoyed a relaxing stay. Loved being amongst nature and being a little bit outside the city. Super easy to get the bus to Leticia, and Enrique helps organize tours and activities in town. Would definitely return again!
