There is no air condition in the bungalow, so the room can be a bit hot in the nights. But there is a fan, thats helping!

Great service and great place to stay in Palomino. Quiet place, perfect for relaxing and only 5-10 min walk from the restaurants and the beach. The room was clean and the breakfast was good. Would definetly stayed here again. Higly recommented!

It was a really great stay! only a couple very minor things. The mosquito net was small for our bed, so didn't cover our feet. It would also be nice to have a chair in the room.

We stayed 2 weeks in the 15sq m AC room with private bathroom at Palomino Sunrise and had a prefect relaxing time. Our room had a ambient bedside lights, small fridge and mosquito net too, all useful. It felt safe there, and quiet for a good nights sleep (after the bar closes at 10-11 pm). Very convenient that they serve delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner . The inclusive breakfast , with slight variation each day on rotation, and the complimentary coffee and drinking water were fantastic. The room, common areas and pool are maintained daily and clean. It was nice to have the lounge seating area upstairs in the shared main building, overlooking the pool. There are no hot water showers (seems pretty common for the area), but we got used to it. There is also the convenience of outdoor showers by the pool. The Wi-Fi worked really well. Palomino town has regular power outages & as we were in rainy season outages were frequent at the beginning of our stay from the storms. Brayan the manager kindly offered us a fan during the 1st night’s power outage as the AC power return was delayed. With the sunshine after a few days everything was again in working order. The management were communicative on the power and wi-fi status which was helpful. The cocktails are really good, prices reasonable for the location. The hotel is only about 10 minute quiet path walk to the beach and all the shops and restaurants. It is dark at night so it’s best to visit areas in the day or take an affordable tuk tuk (especially when it rains as there are a lot of puddles and mud on the roads). The staff was very friendly & generous - the manager Brayan was hospitable and great, they were always available in person, over WhatsApp or on the bookings app. Recommend it highly!

The bed was a bit small but the room in general was OK.

Very nice staff. Brian is such a great guy funny, helpful with a positive attitude. Really enjoyed it. The pool is very nice. The food, the cocktails were great too. The barman made very nice cocktails.

This wasn’t the hotel’s fault, but the electricity was out the first night we were there so there was no A/C. The Wi-Fi was occasionally spotty and the shower only got lukewarm. But it’s a small fairly rustic backpackers town so that’s part of the experience!

Brayan the hotel manager went out of his way to ensure all our needs were met, and the breakfasts and staff were excellent. The facilities were super clean and the pool area was just lovely. It was quiet and calm at night and a ten minute walk to the beach. The staff also helped us arrange transportation to and from the airport and mototaxis to take us tubing. We unfortunately got COVID on our second day there (we probably caught it in Bogota) and we ended up staying extra time to quarantine. Brayan helped ensure we could stay longer and even brought us tea to help us feel better and offered to get us meds delivered from the nearby droguería. The kitchen staff, especially Paula, were very kind.

The location is perfect for peace and quiet from the Main Street, but still just a short walk away. Everything was perfect - tasty breakfast, friendly staff, nice pool, big rooms

Few things that could be improved are: - a little table in the room or on the terrace would be well seen (for work or a cup of coffee) - small bedlight would be a nice improvement - it's a pity that the bedsheets and towels are not changed daily, but on demand

It's a nice place to work from. Quite calm and wifi works very well (energy sourced from the solar panels, so it works even during electricity cuts). The bungalow was comfy - the air is circulating very well, so you don't get too hot at night, even without the AC. The beds are comfortable and covered by a mosquito protection. The food is tasty (both breakfast and other meals)

We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed it a lot. The room is nice and AC works well. The staff is super friendly - handing us directly water when we arrived. Also breakfast is tasty and changes slightly every day. Also the place is very quiet during night so you can get a good sleep. Plus WiFi works super good so you can work from there. Highly recommend staying here.

My room specifically had an Air Conditioner problem. I didn't realize it until I got back to Bogotá, with a respiratory problem. I think the AC needs some cleaning and maintaining

The staff was always ready to help The Internet for my work was just perfect, compared to the area. The food most of the time was good (Except for a fish on the last day, the rest was excellent)

I stayed in Palomino sunrise for a whole week while working semi- European hours 6am to 3pm. I was not ready to leave after the 6th night :). The hotel is super comfortable, very clean, very nice and helpful stuff. One of the key differencies is that it is very private, unlike with many other hostels in palomino, there wont be any people from outside coming in and chilling in your hostel space ( restaurant, pool...). This makes a big difference also with people that stay in the hostel, everybody is very friendly, as you become neighbours for your stay. Importnant thing for me was that the pool is super clean they do clean it every day and me, having problems with swimming in dirty water, I had no concerns whatsoever. I could go on and on about the positives. Thank you Bryan for being the top host! Thank you Nairobi and all the other amazing colleagues for making my stay an unforgettable experience. Palomino Sunrise Forever :-* PS: wake up early to catch a glimpse of sierra nevada and snowy peaks of Cristobal Colom and Simon Bolivar. Go above the restaurant and look until you see it.
