Humidity smell in the room breakfast: coffee was horrible

quite loud at night but to be fair it was the 31st of December so it was to be expected.

breakfast was very nice, quality instead of quantity. leaving suitcase there on day of check-out and showering on the rooftop worked out very well after having spent the last day on Islas del Rosario.

The hotel is very nice and the rooms matched a high category establishment. The hotel uses an old (colonial) building with high ceilings and overall very charming. The staff was nice and helpful. The location is one of the best in the walled town of Cartagena and some rooms have a view to the main square. Note that, probably just like any other hotel, they might try to take advantage of a guest who uses Booking.com. In my case, I booked a room with a balcony, but when I got to the room and opened the balcony door it was simply looking into another wall, i.e., the balcony was not really looking anywhere. When I complained, the reception clerk pretended to look for a solution, but eventually informed me that they didn't have any more rooms with a real balcony left. However, they could offer me a higher category room that has a balcony, but at higher price. So, they lure you into spending more.

The breakfast was below expectations. In fact, if you have an option to pay less for a room without breakfast I suggest that you do so and simply step out of the hotel and have an authentic Colombian pastry with coffee in one of the many small shops around. The staff in the restaurant seemed disorganized and service would be agreed after several visits to the table by different people who did not seem to talk to each other. The breakfast was not a buffet, instead it was apparently a la cart, but there were only two choices presented each day, one of them included scrambled eggs with vegetables. Each time the eggs arrived cold, which is really hard to understand unless they had them prepared in advanced. Although that still doesn't explain why they didn't keep them warm at least.

The hotel is quite noisy. There is a square behind the hotel where they play music past midnight, so even with earplugs, it was hard to get some sleep.

Good location and the Peruvian restaurant has delicious food. The bar looks good and has friendly staff. Internet connection works well.

I think the room could have been cleaner, the mattress had stains, floor was kinda dirty and the bathroom had some hair too.

Breakfast was amazing! Room very spacious and keeps the heat out. Staff helpful and nice. Rooftop was great.

It would've been helpful to have a body length mirror in the bedroom I wish there were more breakfast options for those who don't like egg

More vegan options for breakfast and train your stuff better for breakfast. The service wasn't great and I had to wait more than 20 minutes for a cup of coffee and the restaurant wasn't even busy.

Location was great and our room was spacious with a little balcony that faced the street. Windows were very well isolated, so no noises during the night. Breakfast was good although they don't have great option for vegans :( The stuff that works to serve you breakfast could be more efficient.

the staff is nice but in my opinion management doesnt know how to arrange. made me wait till 3:00pm for the room, at 3:00pm made me continue waiting. then i had to go to the airport to pick up my partner. the following day i left the hotel since the morning, came back by 4pm and the room was not done, had to ask for new clean towels, then cleaning came in and did it all with us inside. IMO management has a lot to improve.

it is remodel, its modern, well located and has a good restaurant.

The room floor and the balcony floor were dusty, so we had to ask for cleaning service and started to use the room an hour later from our check in. The balcony floor was dirty with pidgeon excrement. We understand the hotel does not have control over that, but the hotel should try to clean it daily and specialy before a new guest arrival, so you can enjoy the view.

The location is great, close to most landmarks and very close to nighlife of Cartagena. Besides the first receptionist we encountered on our arrival during the check in, the rest of the staff in the hotel and restaurant were great and fulfill all the needs we had.

At this price, rooms should have a hair dryer and a coffee machine.

The staff was very nice. They try to catter to all the the guests requests. The breakfast is delicious. The rooftop is very nice and the view of the Cathedral is beautiful!

The music and area is loud at night which can make it hard to sleep. The pool water did not seem very clean and we rarely saw a pump on circulating pool water. The toilet paper was scented. The location is very central in the old city so lots of vendors at every corner.

Beautiful hotel. The breakfast was great. Staff was very helpful… and although they do speak English, you must speak very slowly and clearly. The location gives easy access to everything in Cartagena. The beds were very comfortable. I felt safe inside the hotel.

The balcony was very very dirrty and full of bird poo. They had a wedding on the rooftoop and we couldnt acces it. Instead we receieved acces to a pool in a nerby hotel. The pool there wasnt so nice.

Late checkin. Rooms do not all have double window. Both of our rooms were dark, one having a porthole window which did not open and so room was damp. Nothing dried.

The standard of the hotel staff from the inside out was horrible!! They didn’t respond to requests, were unfriendly (for Colombian people that’s hard to believe) and, overall, just didn’t come close to any sort of value for price paid.

From the outside and exterior, very aesthetic and contemporary. Location excellent for everything within the walled historic city center.
