Elevator was down for maintenance on arrival so we had to walk up 7 flights of stairs to our room. Our room was not ready for the 3pm check in. They offered us free coffee and a slice of cake while we waited which was appreciated. The balcony did not have the hammock as per the photo provided. The audio on the TV was also not working properly and missing a remote.

Room is large and balcony is spacious. Service was friendly and accommodating. Overall we were happy with our stay!

The hostel has a great shared kitchen, but it is not very well stocked with crockery and utensils.

In general, everything was pretty good; breakfast could have been tastier. The coffee was disappointing... It tasted like nothing really and being in the paradise of coffee that's sad :(

First time staying at a Selina. I like how stylish it is and how they have taken care of the details. It feels like a very elevated hostel experience. The girl at the reception was lovely!

The lockers on the room had no way to close so I couldn't secure my things. Considering that you're sharing rooms it's really important to secure.

The only negative experience we had is that we were staying on a Friday night when they’re hosting parties. Unfortunately we were staying on the room right above the party and we were not given any kind of heads up about it during the check-in. We really would have not minded if we just would’ve gotten a word about it or an invitation. As a result from the party someone decided to smoke in the hall or in one of the rooms but we got some terrible smoke also inside our room.

Lovely and cool place to stay in Bogota. Rooms are more spacious than what they look from the photos. The staff is amazingly helpful and service oriented! A big plus for us is that they also offer luggage storage service. Location is nice and the walking distance to many restaurants, cafes, bars, shops and malls.

Nightclub on top floor made it impossible to sleep, was extremely loud and went till past 3am. Had to wait a long time (40 minutes) while the group in front of me checked in, and wasn't really acknowledged (a smile or eye contact) by reception the whole time.

Not really much of a backpacker-y hostel vibe - I found it not at all easy to meet other travellers from different countries there, with pretty few group/social activities and not many people who spoke languages other than Spanish around, so not ideal for solo travellers looking to meet others to hang out with. Also quite quiet atm. The location is fairly far from most of the things there are to see in central Bogota so I spent quite a lot of time travelling around. A few things like their pre-arranged taxi transfer service have a big markup on them compared to what just organising your own taxi at the airport costs.

Very helpful staff, and nicely decorated, mostly pretty clean with good facilities etc. The location is quite safe and quiet and various decent cafes/restaurants around.

I GOT DISAPPOINTED BECAUSE ME AND MY BOYFRIEND BOOKED A ROOM IN ADVANCE WITH SHARED BATHROOM AND PAID $40, ALTHOUGH MY FRIEND GOT A PRIVATE BEDROOM AND BATHROOM FOR $30, THEY TOLD ME THIS IS DUE TO AVAILABILITY AT THE TIME OF BOOKING. IN GENERAL WE GOT A GOOD TIME, BUT GET A PRIVATE BATHROOM INSIDE BEDROOM IF YOU CAN.

THE PLACE IS NICE, LOCATION IS NICE. CHECK IN A BIT SLOW BUT OVERALL NICE AND THEY HELPED US GET A PARKING SPOT IN A DIFFERENT BUILDING. AMBIANCE IS GOOD.

Constant noise. In the lobby there was loud music from 7 am till 10 pm, or special nights - even longer. Some mornings I woke up to the noises of maintenance or cleaning works. The terrace staff doesn't speak English, the receptionists either, except for Alejandra, who is brilliant. My room was facing the next building,making it impossible to leave the blackout curtains open - so my room was a cave 0-24. A hair dryer would have been nice in the room. Or if at least we could have borrowed it from the reception.Also, some hooks in the bathroom could be more practical and a table in the room where you can put your things onto. I couldn't visit my team members on other floors without a card to the elevator. The standard room looks a little run-down.

The staff is outstandingly supportive,kind and helpful. Everybody is smiling, and ready to help you anytime. The beds are very comfortable The ambiance is exactly as promoted, the style and feeling is " as seen on TV". Shops are nearby, the area is safe. The suite is spacious, well equipped and has a nice view.

We stayed there on a Friday and Saturday and that means it is really noisy, because they have a club on the 6th floor.

Location is good. Stylish hotel/hostel. We had a room with a shared bathroom. Bathroom was like a bathroom you expect from a hostel.
