Its quite a hike up from the town (25min) and no cooking facilities/no food allowed inside the hostel (dinner was a bit expensive at the restaurant).

Nice Pool and awesome view! The breakfast was very good and the beds comfortable. The best part is the free yoga in the mornings. :)

The only downside is that that the walk into Minca is down a long road with no streetlights, so a bit scary at night if walking solo.

I had an amazing stay here and would 100% recommend to anyone visiting Minca. Amazing value for money considering the standard of the place and the fact that there’s free breakfast (I highly recommend the pancakes) and free morning yoga. The property is beautiful, views are amazing, the pool area is great, the food is delicious, staff are super friendly. It definitely feels more like a hotel than a hostel. I stayed in a mixed 8-person dorm which was comfortable, decent storage space. In addition to the dorm’s bathroom there are also bathrooms and a shower off the main corridor, which meant I was rarely left waiting for a bathroom. The restaurant’s food is really delicious. A bit on the higher budget end, but there’s a pizza place v nearby if looking for something cheaper, or can walk into Minca. 100% recommend staying here!

Our shower had some issues with the faucet coming off and being tricky to turn on and off. We were in a bunk bed room and it was not particularly easy to access the top bunk. The ladder coild have been easier on the feet. But it was quite comfortable once up there!

Beautiful view and the pool area was spectacular. Food was excellent and staff were wonderful and helpful. Sunsets were amazing and overall vibe was chill and friendly.

Service is super slow. Takes 30-60 min for any meal that you order.

It's about 15 min walk up the hill out of Minca. Super quiet surrounded by nature. Pool is super nice and great to relaxe. Rooms are simple but offering everything you're looking for. Food tastes great!

This is a bit of hostel/hotel hybrid and there were a LOT of people just hanging out at the hotel all day every day, meaning it was nearly impossible to find a sofa or lounger to use near the pool. Day bed/sofas had people’s stuff plonked on them from like 6/7am onwards. We were poorly during our stay and ended up confined to the hotel for 3 full days… we managed to get a seat in the shade near the pool for approx 2 hours during our entire stay. There also NEEDS to be parasols/umbrellas out over the sun lounger area - the decking area is so nice and has the best view, but it’s baffling not to offer any form of shade from the blazing sun!!! There were also constant floating dead bugs in the pool - I know this is Minca and it’s to be expected but I didn’t see anyone through the day keeping the pool clean with a net… made it really uninviting as the day went on. Why oh why aren’t there mosquito nets in the rooms! Bedroom doors are left wide open after they have been cleaned and whilst waiting for check-ins. There’s nothing to stop the bugs… I got bitten to shreds overnight :(

This hotel really is absolutely BEAUTIFUL, was one of the best hotel rooms we’ve had in our travels across Colombia so far. The bed was even bordering on soft!!! A miracle. Lovely bed linens, doors opened up onto the pool area, great bathroom. We slept like a log - thought the room location would be really noisy but it wasn’t at all. A really tranquil stay! The breakfast offering was really great (eggs, pancakes or granola) all made fresh to order each morning. Gorgeous restaurant setting and loved sitting and watching the humming birds. The pool area and view is so lovely, really tastefully done and a great place to hang out. The staff were all so kind and friendly, and the ordering system makes everything so easy - you get an electronic bracelet to charge everything to and then clear your bill by card on checkout! Reception were great and helped order airport taxis and can recommend on tours/activities etc. Would come back in a heartbeat!!!

One of the best accomodations ive ever stayed in. The staff is lovely, there was a free Yoga class every morning. They helped with all my questions. Food and Views are amazing. Beds in the dorms have a good arrangement so you still have privacy while sleeping. Big bathroom. Locker and shelf for every bed in a seperate room between dorm and bathroom.

Gorgeous pool with a great view of the surrounding forest and wildlife. The restaurant had water feeders for the hummingbirds, which meant you could observe the hummingbirds drinking all day. Amazing sunset views, and lots of places around the hotel to relax and chill. Also staff were helpful and friendly.

The first night I stayed in a 4 person dorm in a separate building located down the hill... I did not feel this building was very secure. I moved up to the main building into a 6 person dorm and it was much better. I don't usually stay in dorms, but as it was an all female dorm, I didn't mind. No single rooms were available and I really wanted to stay at this property!

The Veranda was exactly what I needed after hiking the Ciudad Perdida. The breakfasts were delicious, the staff friendly and the location and facilities were perfect. I especially loved all of the birds that surrounding the property. There is a great massage place just 2 minutes walk from the property too!

I left a favourite shirt there and went back a couple days later and it was gone which I was really disappointed about. And the restaurant service is friendly and good but veeerrryyyy slow. Expect to spend $30 - $50,000 COP on your meals if you’re eating on site but town isn’t that far away, if you’re really committed to a budget it’s doable.

Loved the location, the pool, the restaurant, the hummingbird feeders, everything. The breakfast was simple but very good. The women working reception were so helpful and lovely. After staying in cheap hostels for several weeks this felt luxurious but still affordable. I extended my stay 3 times.

The bathroom in the dorm smelled a bit moldy, but not superbad. Maybe they could improve the ventilation, as there is no window to it. They only have small lockers for your valuables. But a separate shelf for the backpacks with no doors.

Nice hostel, nice areas to relax, at the pool, in the hammoks, nice views, good food. The vibe was really calm, it felt definetely like a hotel, even though they had dorms. It was okey for me as I was travelling with a friend. It is not too far away from Minca, you can easy walk down and take a Mototaxi back up.

The locker in my dorm was very difficult to close. The door in my dorm also never closed, which was not very nice when it was time to sleep. There didn't seem to be soap for hand washing in the shared bathroom.

Wow! The view is unmatched! The restaurant had absolutely delicious food. I spent my time lounging by the gorgeous pool and really enjoyed being able to fully relax.

The restaurant staff was not exactly friendly. The breakfast options were rather limited. Of all the hotels in Colombia that we visited it was the only one that did not offer fresh juice for free. Overall, it is slightly too expensive for what you get.
