The experience of waking up and watching the sunset in the jungle is incredible. The walk to and from Minca is a joy in itself and the host Jorge is a gem. Don’t stay in the town pick a place like this just outside and enjoy both worlds.

The only little bit unpleasant thing was that the cabins are quite near the road, that came a bit surprise for me because i hadnt checked the pictures closely enough but still it was peaceful place and with earplugs we slept like babies and woke up relaxed and refreshed

We liked everything about Tanoa. The road there was good, not too far from the town. The cabin was nice and the bed was comfortable. The opening walldoor really gave nice extra space and the net for chilling was cool. The owner was super nice, friendly, helpful and sweet, we really liked him and these cabins he had💛

Bugs were wild. Neighbors were so loud and rude- the neighbors dog was barking all night and you could hear the street and chickens. No sleep. Bed not comfortable nor were pillows. “Gate” was sketchy. No place to buy anything like water or snacks but owner helpful with a deliver service info. Walk up is pretty rough.

Very cute and well thought out. Great view and hammock. Kind host and cats. Very nature. The fan and fridge and electric outlets were awesome. Go to the sunset place to the right and up the hill. Awesome lemonade.

After spending a couple of night in Medellin, this was the perfect place to relax. The cabana is only 15-20 minutes from the small city center of Minca and is the perfect getaway to get some rest. The cabana’s are really nice, clean and private. The hosts are really nice people. Jorge even took us to a beautiful hidden spot near Pozo Azul. We had the chance to take an early morning swim together with him. Really nice people! I would really recommend this place to everyone.

There are a lot of mosquito's in the cabana. The bathroom is a bit open so you feel like people can see you. Don't go to the pizza place they recommend, we didn't like it.

The cabana's are really nice made and the hammocks in front are very nice. The bathroom is also very well made and the place is quite. It is a bid outside of town so if you want to return at night you can take a motortaxi.

I absolutely loved my stay at Tanoa. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the sweetest and friendliest staff you could imagine. I felt so welcomed in my little A-frame in the jungle. I loved having a private bathroom and the hammock in the treetops was the perfect place to relax with my book and listen to the sounds of the birds. I would definitely stay here again whenever I'm in Minca. Thanks for a wonderful experience!

It’s quite close to the road, so a motorbike will occasionally join in with the chorus of birdsong.

Unique stay in Minca - lovely to wake up with an open air view to the jungle. Walkable to town and close to Pozo Azul and Escondida (only five minutes away and much quieter).

We got the bottom tent which was very close to the road with all the noises from the cars driving by. The pillows were extremely tall and stiff making sleeping very uncomfortable, my neck and shoulder hurt for several days after our 1 night stay.

Nice stay on a coffee farm with lots of birds around. The owner is very nice.

The walk from the street up to the cabanas is quite steep and the stones can be slippery.

The location is great, just outside the village of Minca surrounded by green and sounds of animals. Great shower outside. Hosts are very welcoming and friendly and happy to give suggestions.

There could have been some small finishing touches to make the experience a bit more convenient but that might take away from the glamping experience so probably best to keep it as is.

Tanoa was a great glambing experience. The cabins were very cozy when the door was closed but once open you feel like you're staying in the jungle. There wasn't food on site but Siemble just 5 minutes away is a great place to grab dinner or breakfast with a beautiful view of the landscape.

Everything was ok.

Cute little hut with nice touches like net, where u can relax and observe birds, romantic night lights around the hut or opening roof/window system (we loved to chill on the bed and had that view when it was raining). Comfy bed. Jorge, the host is amazing, friendly and helpful, he gave us some great recommendations where to eat, where to go, let us taste his own coffee. The huts are located in the middle of Jorge´s own small coffee farm, little further from the town center, but closer to the nature and walking paths (u can take moto taxi approx. 5000 COP or approx. 20 min walking downhill to the center, uphill from the center). We would love to stay longer.

We cannot fault this place!

The cabanas themselves are so nicely built and well put together, with the private decking and net to relax in, and the nice touches like the fairy lights that come on for the evening around the property. Jorge was also so friendly and welcoming and gave us some great recommendations. The location is a little bit out of the main town of Minca but it’s easy enough to walk (about 20 mins) or get a Moto taxi (5,000 pesos), it’s also a positive as the property is close to the Escondida and Azul waterfalls

The structure of the Cabaña is very nice to enjoy when the weather is sunny, if it’s raining or cold.. and you can not open the terrace door’s can be a bit challenge.

Nature Environment The Cabaña is cozy and the Terrace it a perfect for relaxing Jorge, the owner is a very nice person. He gave us a lot of tips and he is attentive for any needs you have. The place is located around 15 minutes walking distance from the city center, good enough to be far from the noise of the city.

Waking by the sound of the bird almost totally in the middle of nature was a very good experience. It was only 20 min by foot from Minca city center, and you easily access to waterfalls and good hikes around the accommodation. Really, my highlight in my Colombian trip

Amazing place! The huts are very cozy and located in the middle of coffee with a walkable distance to Minca and the best pizza and breakfast place in the area. We highly recommend staying here.

The only thing I could find is that the hotel is located 15 mins uphill from Minca village on foot, but in reality this distance is what makes this a very nice spot.

This was the best stay we had in Colombia. It is in a very nice location with amazing view and very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The best of all is the host who is extremely friendly and helpfull and will help with everything.
