Wonderful stay for relaxing and slowing down. Pilar is the kindest host we’ve ever had. She helped arrange transportation and made a reservation at the hot springs for us. Breakfast was good. The hostal is within walking distance of several restaurants. The property also has some short walking paths, one down to the creek. We didn’t get to explore Santa Rosa de Cabal, but it looks like a nice town to walk around.

It's a peaceful and family-friendly place, perfect for relaxation amidst a wonderful landscape. Mrs. Pilar and Mr. Jorge provided us with excellent service. Without a doubt, the hostel was an outstanding choice, and for us, it was the highlight of our days of rest

    Everything was great!

Pilar has to be the best host in Colombia! It is like a relative welcoming you home. The place is rustic, and right in the middle of nature. We went to the termales so it was just a short distance. Pilar helped us with transportation, she was just awesome and made our stay delightful.

We loved our stay! The only advice I have for travelers is to bring lots of bug spray. There are lots of mosquitos in Santa Rosa de Cabal and really all over Colombia. We were bit a lot in Cali and then again in Santa Rosa (even while in town). Be sure to bring some with you to keep yourself protected!!

My family and I stayed here while on vacation. We were visiting from the United States. This is a rustic cabin set on beautiful land. I enjoyed laying in the hammock and watching the rain fall. Also you can hear the rain fall on the roof which is relaxing. You can catch the local bus that passes by to the Santa Rosa termales for $.50. The bus passes by every 2 hours so be sure to ask what time it will be passing. Dona Pilar was very sweet and made our stay very nice. One of the reasons we booked this place is that it said it had a shared kitchen. We were able to use Dona Pilar’s kitchen for an extra 30 pesos but we didn’t know that it was an additional charge. each night we made our dinner and she made space for our stuff in the refrigerator. There are also some restaurants in walking distance if you don’t want to cook. There is hot water in the showers as well and breakfast is great. bring an umbrella because it rains a lot.

If you going by car, the entrance can be a bit difficult since it is unpaved. Not too much but still.

Love the vibe of the place. The view is amazing!
