Only thing that I would like to see improved is breakfast. It is too simple. Some additions to eggs, like ham, bacon or cheese would be nice.

It was a really pleasant stay in this hotel which is actually a big family house. Everything looks very nice, our room was really great and very well decorated. Whole house is beautiful and the best area is dinnig room, with big table where you can take breakfast with other guest and chat a bit... Really family atmosphere. We had opportunity to drink coffee with the owner one norning, such a charming and smart man. We have enjoyed his company. Staff is also very kind and polite. Really recommend this place.

Water temperature in the shower a little unpredictable, but always fine in the end - not unexpected in a historic property.

Very friendly welcome to a beautiful house and amazing staff all round. Got brilliant insights into what to see in Bogota, which led to an amazing three days here. The nicest room of my travels in South America. Solid breakfast.

Staying in the Candelaria House was a delight! The location is great and the rooms are comfortable and clean. But most of all: the staff is amazing. Lucia prepares all the guest a great breakfast and is a really kind lady! The host and owner knows a lot about Bogota and Colombia and loves to share his knowledge. When we ran into some trouble he was kind enough to take a taxi with us and try to solve it!

Beautiful place. The room we had was brilliant, big and very comfortable bed. The value for money here is the best I have experienced. Breakfast was delicious and staff very friendly and helpful. Also a really safe area for accommodation.

Great little hotel in the historic center of Bogotá! The hotel is situated close to all tourist attractions in the city, and there are lots of restaurants/cafes/bars/supermarkets close by. The very tasty and fresh breakfast is served at a large common table in the dining room, so you can chat with other travelers. It's important to know that we felt very safe the whole time we stayed in the hotel and walking around the neighborhood. Oh, and the room had an excellent shower! Totally recommendable! :-)

The maintenance guy was outside doing work in the courtyard outside my room so I had to keep the blinds closed for privacy. But otherwise it was pleasant being there.

Well.... I had arrived at night after being in the jungle for 2wks. As you can image I needed a nice hot shower and comfortable bed after toughing it and hiking to several waterfalls in Columbia. He was quite comical to me in a most concerned fashion. He put a mask on. I probably would too. Lol. He I am looking like "what on earth did the cat drag in". Growing up in Boca Raton, Fl. Is a far cry from how I presented myself.🤭 He was very kind and showed me how to use everything including the bed warmer. Breakfast was superb. Nice hot showers too.

The location is perfect, right in the center of the old part of Bogota and walkable to many sights. The owner was very helpful in spending time with us the first evening to review what we should see and tell us of some of the history of Bogota. We felt very safe in this hotel and area.

It was the best place we have stayed in during the 2 weeks we have been in Colombia. The hotel is great, very well decorated, not an hotel for the masses but more like a boutique hotel. The location is also really good, in Candelaria, walking distance for the attractions for tourism in Bogota. The personnel of the hotel is really helpfull and available. The breakfast incredible! I absolutely recommend Candelaria House Boutique!
