Such a great hostel. Has everything you need. Super chill. Lovely staff. Great location. Awesome pool. Solid set up overall. And has both AC and non-AC dorms (bliss for AC haters like myself).

There will always be a English speaking person on the reception. They are super helpful and you'll have a lot of activities you can do and the reception will be happy to help. Kitchen, fridge, giant TV, Air conditioning, Bar, pool and a very good kitchen. This hostel is just awesome! Most people staying here are European, nice thing to speak English for a while before going back to the Spanish outside world :)

This place was clean and comfty. Staff were amazing and helpful. Pool was clean and fresh. Food was great. This hostel is near a supermarket and couple of minutes away from a commercial mall. If I had to stay in this area again, I would definitly go there again. I recommend this place.

I liked the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, a special thanks to Connie and Chrisina for all their help. I also liked the general vibe and look of the place and the swimming pool was good too. Also, the location was excellent for my trips to Tayrona and Minca.

The location was perfect for us because it was a 1 night stop between palomino and Minca and the hostel is right beside the bus stops. If you wanted to be in the centre of Santa Marta however, this is quite far out. This is a much better location in our opinion however as Santa Marta centre is extremely loud and not so nice

Nice hostel with comfy beds. The private rooms were very clean with good aircon. The shared kitchen is also very well stocked and kept nice and clean. Pool area is nice for escaping the heat! Hostel just 5 minute walk from where you can get the bus to Minca and Cartegena. Hostel 8 minute walk from a good shopping centre

A beer at the swimming pool was excellent, music was pleasant, the vibes were good, and we loved the location as a starting point to Minka. There is a bus stop that takes you to Tayrona or Minka a short 5min walk away. You don’t need to take the shuttle offered by the hostel.

The most helpful and fantastic staff! I used Dreamer Santa Marta as a jump off point to Tayrona and Minca and they were so knowledgeable and gave great instructions on transport and what to do! Very grateful for you guys!

Far from old Santa Marta, but this isn't the fault of the hostel. It's my fault for not doing more research. It's a great location and an easy taxi ride if you want tranquility.

Extremely relaxing comfortable location. The room was fantastic, great AC and fan. The bed was comfortable. The staff here were wonderful and very accommodating and helpful.

I love the Dreamer, and have been here several times over the last ten years. It is a really nice place to stay for some relaxing days or as a base for exploring attractions around the area such as Tyrona park and Tangara.

Lovely shaded pool area and great food! Friendly staff and the ability to hold our luggage while we explored tayrona. This place is perfect to use as a base between Tayrona and Minca as the buses to both are very close. If you want to see Santa Marta itself then this probably isn’t the place for you as it is quite far out, but it fitted our needs perfectly.

The room itself had some flaws, airco worked half of the time, toilet leaked and a scorpio under the bed. Still would go back :).

This place is a dream! Would 100% recommend. It’s like a hidden paradise with the greenery and the pool. Nice amount of games, met wonderful people, drank nice cocktails etc etc. I personally didn’t care to be close to Santa Marta downtown. If you’d like to go there, take a bus or cab.

No major issues regarding the stay however when we booked the Punta Gallinas tour, the hostel told us the wrong price of the tour which meant that we had underpaid the agency and we didn’t realise this until we had returned from the tour. Luckily the agency were really nice about it and we managed to sort it out, but just double check the final prices before booking any tours!

We loved the facilities, it was like a little oasis in Santa Marta. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and we were able to book the Punta Gallinas desert tour with them which was incredible. There was always something to do and it was very relaxing.

It was far away from city centre and needed a taxi to go anywhere. Also booking.com charged me more than double of what others paid. And that’s a rip-off.

They had a kitchen where chef prepared fresh and tasty meals.

Only down side was that it is far from the beach and Santa Marta. Also we had arranged a transfer to minca via the hostel and were told it would be 18.000 but it was 80000cop.

Double room was amazing, huge bed and netflix etc on the TV. Aircon was really good and quiet. Great vibe lots of activities and is close to the bus stations and also the local bus to tayrona.
