We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United Kingdommy mum and I stayed here for two nights and really can’t fault it. the owner is lovely and always up for a chat. the rooms are very comfortable - one of the comfiest mattresses and pillows I’ve had in Colombia! wouldn’t hesitate to return!

ColombiaHas a nice rooftop terrace with hammocks and chairs, good spot to have a coffee and people-watch. Kitchen is well equipped though you don't really need to cook as the hostel is in such a good location in terms of bars and restaurants.

NetherlandsThe noise..... especially in the weekend, the neighbours tend to be very loud. It is not the Kolibri's fault though, and very Colombian.
One of my best stays in Colombia, really nice and relaxed and very clean place. Nice terrace to sit and to get breakfast served by the host. Joachim the host has been absolutely great. Helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Plus a great chat in at least four different languages. Absolutely recommended.

CanadaIf you close the door when out on the patio, you will be locked out and have to get someone's attention on the road to inform reception. The air-conditioned stopped working around 1am with no one I reception the room got very hot. When talking to reception in the morning, he said it's normal the breaker trips, and there's nothing he can do about it. I recommend you save some money and just get a fan room somewhere else.

The owner was nice and had a lot of useful recommendations. The included breakfast was fine and the lunch afforadle and also nice.

United KingdomThe owner of the hostel was quite grumpy and unapproachable, so I didn’t feel completely welcome during my stay there - despite having my room for 10 days. A friend of mine left her towel in my laundry bag so that I could get it washed for her. A cleaner removed the towel from my bag assuming I had taken it. My friend later returned to collect her towel and the owner was very difficult and rude, making an issue in returning her towel to her. I was quite disappointed to hear this considering I’d had a conversation with the host agreeing that she could collect it. My stay was lovely but I could have been made to feel a lot more welcome.
I really liked the feel of the property and the breakfast was delicious. it was a lovely environment to unwind in after my 7 months of travel.

Poland- They don't inform they clean your room so in a couple of times we noticed there was someone in our room. - During weekends you have loud music due to bar/restaurants across the street (until 2 am) - All 3 days we were there we didn't have good WiFi. Poor connection. Solution: sit outside in the reception area :/ If all above is not a big issue, go for it, we recommend it but get a room with AC. A fan is not enough.
Location is good, easy to get there. Breakfast is also tasty. Staff and manager are good people. Apparently you get your room cleaned everyday. During week days the area is quiet and chill
