You are right in the centre and therefore it is noisy. We had a balcony room at the front which faced the bars with music until 4am. :( We had to use ear plugs to block out the noise. The Reception staff weren’t friendly - one exception - the young male waiting staff at breakfast was very polite.

The hotel is very central to the old town. Once we travelled by taxi from the airport we didn’t need another taxi until we left. Everything of interest is in walking distance. The small pool on the roof was nice with great views of the old city square.

Good location close to many nice restaurants and bars. A bit noisy at night. Staff personnel are utmost friendly and helpful. Bed and rooms are comfortable. Not much space to organise clothes and small table for working. Swimming pool on roof top offers a nice view but was partly out of service

Our two nights at the NH in Cartagena were quite expensive comparing to other hotels, while services remain very limited. The great location justifies probably the higher rate, though the value for money is not balanced. We were also disappointed we couldn't book a late-checkout since we were island-hopping in the day.

NH is located in the heart of Cartagena's historic center; a city being known for it's warm and tropical climate. It felt like a privilege to enjoy the historic center while still being able to enjoy the fresh and clean rooms when it was getting too warm outside. In the evening, you could easily enjoy Cartegana's nightlife without feeling unsafe.

The bed's mattress was not in its best shape. The shower flooded everytime it was used. I asked for an iron and ironing table. The iron was not int its best condition, a bit broken even.

I was on a business trip (although an academic one). The hotel lacks a business center, so there was no space for me to make or print copies.

the staff were fantastic. another booking fell through and we needed rooms last minute. it was my birthday and Geraldine at the front desk arranged for brownies and fruit to be delivered to my room as a surprise! it was so kind and really made the stay there enjoyable. the security were always nice when we came in and out of the building.

Superb location in the main plaza of old town. Great food, sites, sounds all on our doorstep. Very helpful and friendly staff. Special mention to Geraldine for her knowledge, warm welcome and smile, advice and humour. Packed mini bar. Healthy breakfast and great restaurant staff.

I didn't like how the water flood in the shower and no face towels to bath with.

The staff was excellent, they are always excellent every time I visit. The restaurant has nice food which is conveniently downstairs. The view,I always get a room with a terrace.

The square and surrounding streets full of prostitutes and tourists hunting them at night. It is surrounded by rooftop openair clubs and bars belting out loud music. The room was noisy as a result of loud inconsiderate guests whom the hotel did not appear to want to constrain. Room looked out into a dark lightwell containing all the ventilation motor units. Buffet breakfast is not, you can ask for breakfast from a list that is reeled off at the portion sizes they give.

The location of the hotel is very close to the walls of the old town and the town clock square, quiet during the day.
