There is no air conditioning, and it can quickly become sweltering in the room with temperatures over 40°C. Even with the fan and the door open, it was difficult for us to sleep. There aren't many activities around the hotel, and the beach isn't really swimmable due to strong currents.

It's a beautiful place, the food is good, and the rooms are nice.

Really - not much! It's about 5-10 minutes by tuk-tuk to the town of Palomino, so be aware that it's pretty remote. The driveway from the road to the property is long and pretty rough, and there's a long walk through the trees on a boardwalk from the driveway dropoff to the hotel itself.

Breakfast was fresh and delicious, made to our preferences and was different every day. The open air dining room was delightful, and the staff was always warm and accommodating.

The wifi is not great.

This is a wonderful place, located on a tranquil beach where it is possible to swim (no strong currents). The Managers are super friendly and service minded. The food is delicious. They have a Whats App group so you can order food or drinks to the beach, and get updated about events and possible excursions etc. The accommodation is clean and very nicely designed. There are a range of animals including a dog, two geese and two parrot chicks on the premises.

All the food was phenomenal. I LOVE not having to leave a location to get great food. Everything looked and tasted great! The rooms were beautiful, each with a full bathroom, the view was calming and my favorite thing…the night sky was fantastic full of stars.

We stayed in the main building. Beware that the rooms are not soundproof at all, so we could hear all conversation from the room next to ours.

Walking through the mangrove to arrive to this hidden gem with a private beach makes you already like the place. This is a heaven to rest (except in the rooms - see comment on what i didnt like). The staff and food were great.

Germann and his staff were really warm and welcoming. I only planned on staying one night and ended up staying four! The food at the restaurant was excellent and the location, away from the noise of the city, was exactly what I was looking for. Comfortable beds, hammocks on the beach and even a yoga studio! There was also a free salsa night which I really enjoyed. Highly recommended.

The location is amazing. We really enjoyed the seclusion from everything while only being a five minute tuk tuk ride to palomino town. A little slice of paradise to enjoy with just a handful of other guests.

The location, private beach, and overall beauty of the property and its unique buildings. The staff were wonderful and German at the front desk was very helpful. The wildlife (especially the 2 geese!!) and the upstairs games floor (with access to pool tables and a traditional Colombian game) give it lots of charm. The room was clean and comfortable, though there is no AC and it can be a bit hot depending on the weather (but that is to be expected at an eco hotel).

Amazing space, very private and very quiet. If you want to get away from touristic places, crowded beaches this is the spot. You can calm down here and relax all day long at the beach.

Only thing I would mention is that the waves are strong so can’t swim most of the time. But walking along the long stretch of almost private beach is very therapeutic.

During my stay, the beach was very beautiful and private. The hotel was clean and the staff were very responsive and diligent. It is rare to not have anything negative to write about.

Everything was great. I would advice having coathangers and shelves in the bungalow room to leave our staff so that it can dry out and be easily accessible.

The private beach, the privacy, the hamacs, football and volley field, the massage / resting place, the sunbeds (although a bit hard, so a mattress would be good), the cocktails, friendliness of the staff.

It might be helpful to include in the hotel's description that there's quite a bit of a walk from the main road to the hotel entrance, especially for travellers coming by bus, so as to be better prepared.

The peace and quiet at this location were just what we needed as a last-minute escape from the hustle and bustle of Cartagena. It's the perfect little oasis with its own private beach, wonderful staff and amazing drinks and food at the restaurant. We had a bit of a rough journey getting to the hotel, after missing our stop on the bus, having spotty cell phone signal and it being the middle of the night. German made sure to make us feel welcome upon our arrival and continued to check in on us during our stay. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a way to recharge and reconnect. We loved it so much that we're already thinking of when we'll be back!
