the staff are really nice and kind. the location is perfect if your plan is walk around Getsemani, Manga or de downtown (centro histórico). everything was clean!

Location, location, location!!! Close to best restaurants and dance clubs. Super culturally interesting neighbourhood. The owners and stuff were really helpful and accommodating. Breakfast is bueno, bonito y barato! We were really lucky to have stayed at this place. Great value for money.

There was nothing we didn't like about this boutique hotel.

We really loved this quaint boutique hotel because of its super location close to restaurants, bars, shops, clubs and only a short couple of blocks to the Old City Center. The staff was absolutely wonderful to us, especially Maria Jose - and Martha at the front desk, and our included "cooked to order" fresh breakfast of eggs, nice selection of fruits and delicious juices served on the roof-top terrace, was the perfect start to each day. It would be difficult to find a nicer place to stay at this very affordable price. We highly recommend Hotel Villa Colonial and it's excellent staff!!!

The staff was amazing, the price was great and the location is perfect. It’s one street away from the main street of Getsemani where everything happens but somehow stays quiet if you don’t want to participate. The room was clean, great AC, we had daily breakfast between 7-9 and the facility is very secure. Random people can’t just come in. It’s also about8-9 mins away from the wall so all activities start there. There is no pool but ask reception and you may have access to one in the area. All in all, we had a great week there and I definitely recommend it.

It was the most expensive accommodation on my trip to Colombia but did not compare to the comfort and style of many of the other places I stayed.

I liked the air conditioning and the filtered water. The location was good too. Breakfast was decent.

The isolation is inexistant in this hotel. The walls are so thin, the people at reception are too noisy early in the morning. I had a room at the ground floor and had to change because they wouldn't stop talking loud and people coming in late at night, it just made it impossible to sleep. I changed for a room on third floor that was smaller than what I paid for, but even then there were horrible noises coming from the 4th floor above, some machine sounds that would start early in the morning and staff making breakfast at 6 AM. Sadly, despite the staff, I can't recommend this hotel to anyone who needs to sleep...

The building is very beautiful with a great rooftop terrace. The view is not spectacular, but it's still nice. The rooms are clean, and the air conditioning was very pleasant. The lady of the house and the rest of the staff were very friendly and helpful! For breakfast, there were fruits, eggs, toast, and cereal – we were very satisfied with it.

The reception staff were horrible - met by two older men who were rude, tried to over charge us above the booking rate and then said over charing was not a big deal it was not a lot of money for us anyway. Then they proceeded to charged one of us for the entire reservation even though we asked for it to be split between us - when i complained they found it very funny. This does not make you feel safe in a hotel where there are no safety deposit boxes. The young guy working on reception in the mornings was equally unpleasant and treated us like we were unwelcome intruders and not paying guests. Over all there are better places for equal or less money in better locations with honest staff.

its old and run down . No hot water a lot of times . very old towels and only1 bath towel that was so thin . bedding is old . everything was old and rattled . The breakfast was very little and always the same. only 2 rooms that have windows . all the other rooms are like Jail cells .here are no night tables with lamps , There are no cupboards or hangers also . no hot water most of the time .no hangers no cupboards to put clothes in . Just some hooks on the walls
