How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

They need to pay better attention to pillow covers and towels, some make up stains and İD cushions seemed wasn't changed before they assign the room to me.
Was perfect for sleep when you need to stay whole day in meetings around the city. İn general the room was clean, clean floors, comfy bed, my room has a tree near, so was peaceful at night. The staff was kind and breakfast was nice.

The wifi was slow. And the hotel does not have Netflix. They say they speak my language but usually there was not an English speaking person available.
The location. The air conditioner worked very well. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean.

The high taxi fare from the hotel to the airport. It would be nice if the hotel had some sort of hotel/airport shuttle service.
My room was a good size. I liked the WiFi which worked well. The cable TV was great. The hotel is in a convenient location, close to shopping and restaurants. The staff is friendly and attentive. I plan to stay there again in the future.

There was no tour information for the city. There are tiny bugs in the room. If you get on your cell phone in the dark in the bed, the bugs will be attracted to the screen light of your phone and hurriedly move over your screen. I thumb and finger squashed them. Receptionist isn’t bi lingual so have an interpreter app on your phone bye all means. If you invite company to your room it will cost 35,000 pesos. The bathroom wall is too close to the toilet. I’m 6’6” so I had to turn to face the door to do the #2. Shower gets room temperature so not too bad. Restaurants aren’t on every block so be prepared to walk to find some place to suit your taste. Breakfast was fair, not the best but fair.
It was conviently located bye Supermarket Olympica. Property is quiet for the most part.

I didn’t like that the taxi the front desk helped me arrange for a ride to the airport wasn’t at fair market value and I was overcharged by the taxi driver. It would be extremely helpful if the hotel staff were to have connections with taxi drivers who charge the correct fares.
The rooms are nice and it’s in a great convenient location. Good value in pricing.

First of all the pictures on booking don’t look nothing how the hotel really is. To be honest it was our bad because we didn’t check the reviews. When we got there the gentleman on the reception took us to our room and he put the TV on a Colombian news channel for what reason we don’t know. They only gave us one towel for two people, that towel and the bedding had black stains on them, we requested for a change on the towel because we believed that it was dirty and an extra towel because we were two. They said that the towel was clean but their drying machine was broken and leaving the bedding and the towels like that but the funny thing is that the new towels she gave us didn’t have any stains on them. Breakfast was really poor, the guy serving us didn’t even said what were the options. Only coffee is available if you want water deluded as “orange juice”. The sheets that cover the mattress didn’t fit and it was very uncomfortable sleep on it. They have like five different WiFi and none of them work properly in the room, in the room we stayed if you moved to the bathroom you don’t have WiFi even though they got like five different ones. We didn’t left the hotel because we had already paid.

The location, the property is completely different than the pictures. Even the exterior color is different. Room smelled like mold.
