The location was in a quiet neighborhood with a 10 minute walk to the old town center and a 5 minute walk to a great park. There are some solid grocery stores around and the parking spot is super convenient. The owner was very helpful, provided us a map with places of interest marked out, and she even let us try some delicious, homemade, walnut brandy. There was all the necessary cookware and the entire stay was incredibly pleasant. Spent 3 nights and could have stayed much longer.

The family was very welcoming and let us choose from a couple of different apartments. The children happily played with our 2 year old and he really enjoyed that. There was a parking space for our car and we were able to do laundry albeit through the use of the owner's washing machine. The owner offered us drinks and snacks on arrival. Go into it with the attitude of it being homestay with additional privacy rather than a completely private apartment stay.

There was a bit of a culture shock compared to some of the other places we had stayed. For similar prices we have stayed in much more modern apartments around both the country and region and as such was expected a bit more at that price point. However, we were able to cook, sleep, park, do laundry, had a happy child and as such all of our boxes were ticked.

The apartment is located in a quiet location up one of the hills in Sarajevo. It's a 20 minute walk to the old bazaar and super close to a couple of different supermarkets. If you are having trouble finding it, it's in one of the buildings behind the Mercator supermarket. There was lots of room for parking during our stay. The kitchen was well equipped and we were super comfortable there overall.

Fantastic location next to waterfall and across the bridge to old town, great apartment and veranda area to watch the world go pass. The hosts were great very generous having drinks and snacks available to their guests. Would definitely stay again. Thank you for your hospitality.
