It was a very modern and clean apartment. We loved the skylights and the towel heaters. It was on the fifth floor but there is a lift which made it easy to access with just a few stairs at the top to navigate. It was in a brilliant location, a very close walk to the Cathedral and to all the shops and restaurants in the main area. Our host was very kind coming to meet us in the morning as we were transferring from another hotel. He also allowed us to check in early which was a great help. We would highly recommend Os Sobriños and we will definitely stay here again.

A marvellous place that I'd love to stay in again. I enjoyed having my coffee on the balcony. The room was very clean and spacious and so was the bathroom.

The host was very tentative, unavailable for most of the time. The reception was supposed to be open every day in the mornings and in the afternoons, but was literally open for those 20 minutes of my check in, otherwise it was closed permanently, so I could not pop in for an advice, to book a tour, taxi etc. (although these services were advertised). Once I needed to get hold of the host, I needed to call multiple numbers, out of which the absolute emergency number called back in relatively a short time. It turned out that the person holding the emergency number was on a leave and a couple of hours later I was contacted by another person from a WhatsApp account that did not seem to belong to that person either. This felt super weird and very uncomfortable for a solo female traveller. The whole apartment complex was almost empty (mine and 2-3 other apartments were occupied at a time), it was a ghost town that I decided to leave a few days earlier than planned, as I felt very remote and excluded. The host did not offer any refund and, even though I did not ask for a refund (I asked to agree on an earlier check out date, as I simply did not want to abandon the apartment without telling anyone), they immediately started to argue why I was not eligible to the refund they thought I wanted. So if you expect elementary interaction with your host, do not book this accommodation (that is overprices on top of everything), but rather seek a privately owned accommodation even closer to the port - it is a tiny village with many local specifics and having an insider insight will be a crucial element for the quality of your stay.

Breakfast was not as nice as the hotel itself. The street the hotel is on is also a bit noisy if you want to sleep with windows open.
