Positive section of review
For a budget hotel it was excellent. We had a generously appointed room in a quiet part of the hotel. It was annexed to an excellent restaurant with direct access. A short walk provided access to the old wall town. Secure garage parking was within 100 meters. I was particularly impressed by the grab rails affording security when using the over bath shower. Sadly lacking in other hotels I have used. Not exceptional but more than satisfactory. I wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Breakfast was between 9.45 and 10.30 am. Though of excellent value it was a little late.

Hotel was lovely and comfortable. Bed is really nice. Can see some of the cheaper cost in the scuff marks on the walls cheaper products in the bathrooms etc but very comfortable accomodation; nice facilities and lovely staff.

Location to town is fine for a short Uber driver but do note it’s far enough out that it’s about an hour by public transport or 20 minutes by car - depending on how often you plan to pop into Barcelona central itself

When we arrived at the appartement it wasn't cleaned very well. There was chips under the couch and black hair in the shower drain, under the table etc. The inventory is really bad. You pay a lot of money but the umbrella on the terrace is broke, so we couldn't use it. ( why don't you buy a new one if your customers are paying 1800 euro for just 5 days..) tableware is poor, there are just 2 wine glasses for example.. and you get 1 towel for showering and 1 for the swimmingpool.. if you stay long, it's Just not that great.. i dont want to use the same towel for 5 days. Price / quality is not worth it.
