Positive section of review
The location of hhe apartment is perfect. A stone's throw away from Kamppi mall and metro station. Tram stops nearby. Shops and restaurants nearby and you're only ever 15-30 mins walk from most attractions. Perfect for holiday makers and business visits. The staff are good with replying to messages on booking.com's messenger. Attended to issues in a timely fashion. Very happy about that.

The apartment is lacking a lot of TLC. Could also benefit from a lick of paint to give it a bit of charm. There are loads of cupboards (which is great) but have bits and pieces in them! Not sure why they're there but makes it messy and look uncared for. Also, The coffee machine jug handle was broken, making it useless and needs to be replaced. If you're particular about these things its a bit of a let down and the apartment does seems a little left to ruins. However, I'm sure some of the guests of this property were less than careful, caring or kind to the apartment.

It's a really lovely old house and the apartment is very comfortable and spaceous. Bed was extremely comfortable, as was the bedding. Loved the old furniture! Also all the people in the rest of the building were very friendly and polite. In the apt next door someone was practicing their piano lessons and I actually loved listening to it.

I could not find an iron and an ironing board even though there was supposed to be one. After messaging WeHost they said there should be one but still could not find it. Slightly unfortunate as I was on my way to a meeting but these things happen and I think they will probably make sure there is one in the future. A minor inconvenience also that there's no coffee but that's due to Covid so understandable but maybe in the future that would be lovely.

Solo traveller, I only used one room, double bed, all facilities good , kitchen well resourced, cutlery plates, cookware. Full sized refrigerator suitable for any length of stay.

It's tiny but comfortable, probably best for a single person traveling. Loved the work desk and chair, made working so easy. Little kitchen with everything you need.

The bathroom. 😂 The shower is basically on tip of the toilet and when you shower the entire toilet/bathroom is your shower cabinet and unfortunately this shows on the bathroom door that has water damage. I found this doable and somewhat nostalgic as it reminded me of my student digs many decades ago but it's not for everyone. If you're an older person or with limited movement this is not for you.

I booked the place on the same day, but I received a message from the host saying that it is not possible to stay in it. They told me to ask cancellation with refund and that was exactly what I did. I booked my stay in mid April, and I did not get cancellation nor did I get refund. I have contacted the host couple times, first they said that they’re waiting acceptance from Booking and second time they did not even answer for my refund request. I am not sure if this whole case is Booking’s problem or the host, but I do not recommend this place as I have not been able to stay in the property but neither did I get my money back even though I have been requesting it from the place as well as from booking.
