We had the most amazing stay. The hosts were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. My husband and I were visiting (bike touring) and we were assisted with maps, cycle routes, restaurants, coastal paths to walk, etc. The breakfasts were delicious with a variety of foods, including a stunning view of the sea. The rooms were clean and the beds very comfortable. We would not hesitate to return as it’s a beautiful town with lovely people.

The location was superb. It site on one of the walks around the town that guide you to many of the historically interesting sites there. It is also situated on the banks of the river, which is lovely.

Very old furnishing, the bathroom door lock and handle were not functional and we told the receptionist, the answer was its not required to be functional. Even towels were not given for all visitors and the towels were too old.

I wasn’t aware I couldn’t pay cash for the stay and I had to use a credit card. The beds were so hard and uncomfortable. The one pillow provided was tiny . Dogs barking ll night both nights.
