Positive section of review
In a city which is known for its overpriced (and very average) accommodation, the Hibiscus Louis offers (somewhat) better value. A standard room cost me €80 per night which didn't include breakfast. With breakfast (very average), the cost is €90. The staff are friendly, the pool is a welcome feature (although sometimes the water is cloudy) and the suburban setting is quiet.

The hotel is located in the most unlikely setting, surrounded by a very run down neighbourhood. The food served in the restaurant is very average and worth avoiding. I recommend eating at Cafe Paul which is a short drive from the hotel.

The room was perfect for a stay. I came as a tourist and it has great WiFi, Air-conditioning always worked, and hot water in the shower. It's private and has everything you need for a stay. I would come back again.
