The Tropical Treehouse is a beautiful location in Roatan. It was fun staying "up in the trees." The home itself is spacious, with plenty of room for all four of us. Everything was very clean when we arrived. The hosts are responsive and helpful. We felt very safe on the property. The kitchen was fully stocked with all necessary plates, bowls, utensils, paper towels, etc. They even had games available to play. I loved trying a "new" game (to me), Quibbler. And the best part was a porch with a hammock. That got a lot of use.

The only down side to our stay was the heat. We are fully aware of how hot and humid Roatan gets in some months of the year, so we were prepared for extreme heat. But we didn't have much reprieve from that in the home. The two air conditioners in the two bedrooms downstairs did not help cool down the house. One of the bedrooms stayed a little warm all during the night as well, even with the door closed. We could never have used the loft bedroom. Tropical Treehouse is a wonderful home to stay in for your Roatan vacation. We don't regret staying there, but the experience is dampened by the lack of strong air conditioning.

The house is in a central safe location and has good security. It also includes a free breakfast. The staff are also incredibly friendly, especially the main host Blanca who invited me to her birthday party the night I arrived haha. Which was a legendary introduction to Honduras.

Right in the centre of town perfect location for walking around and lots of restaurants nearby. Room comfortable with air conditioning and hot and cold water. Very nice roof terrance. Motor transport nearby as town quite hilly.

At times noisy with people chatting on chairs outside their room in the hallway/corridor on the ground floor. Breakfast only so-so. Strong chemical smell from cleaning materials.

Loved the location. Very beautiful and relaxing. Dustin and Tracy were really great and helped us with planning on things to do and see. Their breakfast was fantastic! I would definitely go back.

The rooms don’t have A/C which I should have checked before booking. Gracias is very, very hot so this was quite an issue. However, the hotel staff solved it by lending us a big box fan.

I would have liked the information on how many stairs we had to climb, no elevator. Also warning that the hotel is at the top of a very steep hill, no shops up there.
