Came for an over-night sleep because of a long layover in Iceland, and booked a dorm last minute when I arrived at the airport at around midnight. Very nice staff, good breakfast buffet that starts at 4am, reception open all night so easy to check-in for a late arrival, and quiet dorm room w hot shower. Every accommodation in Iceland was expensive but this was the cheapest option in the area near the airport.

Bit far from the airport so must take a taxi - this is not in the hostel's control, but there are no ubers and taxis are very expensive from the airport.

Lovely place, lovely owner, good chat, super comfy beds (shame we couldn't sleep longer, but it's worth it to get up early for Sæmi's large spread of Icelandic porridge-waffle-skyr-breakfast ;–) Could even use the hotpot in the garden, and felt like a journey in time, in this cute historical farm house.

Good location, isolated and very quiet with good views. Room was a good size with a comfortable bed a decent shower and fast internet. Breakfast was very good with a wide selection, but there were no eggs for some reason.

The room was too hot and no obvious way of turning the heat down, in any case as the room had underfloor heating it would have taken too long to respond. We slept with the window open. The biggest let down was dinner, I had a nice very thick vegetable soup followed by baked cod. The cod was totally buried in a massive pile of mixed salad and the dressing totally overwhelmed the fish. Half the quantity of salad served on a separate plate would have been much better. I am afraid I just picked at the fish and left most of my meal, no comment was made by the waiter who cleared the table so I imagine this wasn't unusual. It was an expensive meal and very disappointing.

Amazing central location, near all of the main attractions. Staff were very helpful and quick to reply to me. The apartment was spacious and well-equipped. Overall we were really happy with our stay!

Was one of the best accomodations in Iceland. Very spacious room and bathroom. Clean, really good beds, bedlinnen and pillows. Well located, 5 minute drive to Hoffn.

Kettle for a cup of tea or coffee machine in the room would have been nice. It is available in the common area.

Location was more a business park, you dont feel like taking a nice walk in the area. There is no common area to sit, except for the restaurant (is one open space with reception, so feels bit strange) but you have to order drinks, and the doors were fully open all the time so was really cold in the restaurant / reception. Construction works were really loud, we could not relax in the room. Spa was smaller than expected, swimmingpool fits 4 people, not worth the extra price. Pillow (only 1 per person) was too soft.
