Super convenient location within a short walk of Aktau airport. I received a very friendly welcome from the capable lady at the front desk, and checkout went just as well. The room is a good size with good hot water (very welcome after a few days at large in Mangystau), comfy bed, good AC and fridge. I was a little surprised by omission of a kettle. There were no flights during my stay of about 12 hours. The pleasant cafe, which serves good simple meals, tra, coffee, and cold beer, was exactly what I needed and again provided cheerful service. An ideal place to stay before (or perhaps immediately after) an early morning flight.

location is picture perfect. hosts are very friendly and helpful. we will definately return. we would like a self catering accomodtaion as we prefer to stay long and cook our own food and explore the untouched prestine nature. very close to kolsai lake walks- 15 mins by vehicle. vehicle is a must to explore this region. few of our family members were vegetarians and they made yummy veggie food. we exploed cheryn and black canyon the way to this place from Almaty. we stopped at several location for pictures. very nice and ufferent terrains as we drive from Almaty

Golden Palace is a god quality hotel notable for its very spacious, comfortable rooms. I have stayed here before and would again. Staff are mostly hesitant with English, but all friendly and doing their best to be helpful. Transport schedules mean that arrivals and departures are usually late at night or in the early morning, and the staff deal with it well. Pay for breakfast separately in the cafe adjoining the hotel. I was impressed by the service when I asked to have some laundry done - back in they early evening of the same day, at a very reasonable price.

It’s Aktau, so the electrical power often drops out overnight. This often means room breaker switches need resetting, and not all staff are familiar with how to do that.

Trust me this is best property with a great location in Almaty.All the attractions are near.The apartment is good enough for 2 adults with a kid and got everything you need mainly the modern amenities we felt like we are at our home peaceful locality with high security....The owner and her daughter were good.Our stay was for 10 days...

Very well equipped, clean, and in a great location. Very communicative and helpful staff. Staff also sent a whole list of recommendations which was very helpful and just downstairs there is a very well-stocked 24/7 supermarket.

Very clean and the place was really nice. Living room and dining area area included, washing machine, and big shower. Staff were helpful.

Location is quite far from the Turkestan attractions (about 45 mins walking) but it is an easy walk and taxis are very cheap. The property was not very well equipped at all if you wanted to cook for yourself (only one dish/ cutlery per person and only one pan as a cooking utensil, no sharp knives).

This is on 5th floor without any elevator. It's tough to go upstairs with baggage. All the equipments were adorned only for show , nothing works. Besides no one is to help. Never did I find such bad hotel can be booked through Booking.com .
