Fantastic location. Had a room that overlooked the Hotel National, and looked down the Stefan cel Mare boulevard. Lovely Soviet hotel, like an apartment. Very nice receptionist.

Modern apartment, nice personal touches such as complimentary water bottle, home shoes, security safe, super clean and comfortable.

Cash-only payment is accepted. Had to confirm the checkout and payment instructions over the phone. There was no receptionist around 9 in the morning to give us the change back. The rest was perfect.

Very pricey for what it can offer. Windows without mosquito nets, bathroom without ventilation, without curtain. For 7 night no one cleaned our room.

The elevator died twice while I was there and had to climb 8 story. This is not the fault of the owner, but just know that it's a reality. What's the fault of the owner is his rudeness and attitude, accusing me of not paying. I decided to stay 3 more days, I messaged him to pay cash, I asked him three times when I can pay, he never answered and on the second day, sent me a a rude message accusing me of staying for free and not paying.
