Such an exquisite place to stay. Tastefully furnished and decorated, and impeccably clean. It is located in the middle of a remarkably charming neighbourhood, with great restaurant options nearby, and easy walk to the boat ride, ferry and bus stop. Phoebe, our host, is very pleasant. The extra efforts are much appreciated. She arranged a late breakfast on our last day, and let us keep our luggage in the place (although they have no staff standing by), while we're waiting for our ferry to Sicily in the afternoon.

Some communication issues before our stay. The accommodation was booked one month before, three messages in booking.com plus an email were never replied to, the late arrival time request in the system was not acknowledged. We were getting worried, and finally the WhatsApp message was responded on the day we arrived. The instruction to get in was given pretty late, and it was incorrect. The code key to enter was wrong, and the indicated floor was wrong, so we had to go back with all our luggage from the second floor to the first floor. The room is dazzling, but for privacy, a door would be preferable to separate the toilet. A light bulb was missing from one of the table lamps, and the main light in the room did not work. Nevertheless, compared to the overall splendid experience in Malta, these are counted as minor inconveniences.

Roderick was an amazing host, he made us feel very welcome & comfortable. The apartment was large & clean, it had everything we needed and more with lots of extra details like washing machine & laundry powder supplied. The location is great, close to restaurants & buses but in a quiet side street. Would definitely come back again.

The location was great, very central in Valletta. The rooms were clean and tidy.

The walls are very thin and not all guests are nice. We barely slept the first night as the people next door were slamming doors and had conversations and phone calls at 3 a.m. Price per night was a bit too much considering the size of the rooms, also considering some rooms have their bathroom in a shared hallway. The decor was a bit weird and creepy. Fine if you like antique things maybe.

Parking a nightmare. Bedroom had no window. Pathetically small bed and uncomfortable. Lighting dismal. Bathroom cramped and did not feel like showering and spraying water everywhere. Probably the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. Not easy to find as street address is not in gps. No signage on building. It was clean and Marvik helpful when we phoned. But never again.
